Is there anything worse than silence?
I think not...
silence is louder than screaming
cuts deeper than any knife
bruises worse than any hit
breaks you into more pieces
than a fall from a cliff
In the moments of silence
you are left empty
alone
with nothing but your own thoughts
and we know how our thoughts can be
you talk to yourself
in the voice of the one being silent
not with their words
but the words that you believe
they would say to you
if they would only speak
and
since you hate yourself
in their silence
you hear their voice saying
all of the things that you tell yourself
and even if your heart denies it
your mind tells you its true
because, it's so easy to believe
that you arent worth their time
when thier silence
speaks louder
than any words that they could ever say.
