Chapter 8: Mission: Getting the Gold Rings/Return of the evil genius

Author's Note: So, bare with me. I honestly don't know what the name of the building in the movie where Sonic dropped his gold rings on top of the roof until finding a video where Tom said the name of the building 😅😂😆.

Sonic, Music Note, Maddie, and Tom got to the Transamerica building with Sonic driving Rachel's car like how he drove Tom's car. 

Sonic pulled the car over, but didn't exactly park the car very well. 

"Good thing you didn't hit anything." Tom said. 

"Who thought it was okay for the alien to drive?" Maddie asked. 

"Hey, I got us here and 5 stars please." Sonic said. 

Music Note, Maddie, Tom, and Sonic got out of the car and they looked to see the Transamerica building that had Sonic's his gold rings on top of the roof. 

"So this is it." Sonic said looking at the tall building. 

"Yep, this is the Transamerica building." Tom said gesturing to the building. 

"Wow." Sonic said. 

"What happens now?" Maddie asked cautiously. 

Sonic speed runs into the Transamerica building already and then comes back out of the building after going in that fast already. 

"It's no use. You need a special key to get to the roof." Sonic said not really thinking this out. 

"Well, now what?" Music Note asked curiously. 

"Time to abuse the power within me." Tom said thinking a plan that quick. 

Tom goes back to the car and grabs the duffel bag he brought with him. 

As Tom unzips the duffel bag and dumps everything that was inside of the duffel, he turns to Sonic while holding the duffel bag open by the strap handles. 

"Get in." Tom said. 

Sonic gets into the duffel bag and Tom zips the duffel bag up half way. 

Tom hands Music Note the duffel bag. 

"Here. You carry him." Tom said. 

Music Note takes the duffel bag carefully in her right hand.

"Oh, put these on." Tom said taking his sunglasses out of his shirt pocket.

Tom hands his sunglasses to Music Note.

Music Note puts the sunglasses on with her left hand since she held the duffel bag by the strap handles with her other hand.

Music Note, Maddie, and Tom walk into the Transamerica building.

The three walk up to the front desk and the lady working the front desk looks at them.

"We need the key to the roof. A kid's on the roof." Tom said showing his badge to the lady.

The lady looked confused at Music Note, Maddie, and Tom.

"You came here all the way from Montana?" The lady asked confused.

"That's how important it is." Tom said.

The lady gives Tom a suspicious look and then hands him the key to the roof.

Tom takes the key to the roof.

"You just saved a life." Tom said.

Maddie, Tom, and Music Note walked over to the elevator after walking away from the lady sitting at the front desk so she wouldn't be anymore suspicious.
