Chapter 9: Final battle/Sending Dr. Robotnik to the Mushroom Planet

As Music Note continued to run in the direction of town, she heard an explosion in the direction of town and gasped in panic. 

Music Note reached downtown and gasped at what she saw. 

In the middle of the road was Sonic's limp body. 

"Sonic!" Music Note cried out. 

Music Note ran in the direction of Sonic. 

Her arm was then grabbed by Tom. 

"Music Note, don't!" Tom said. 

"Tom, but. . ." Music Note said with a quivering voice. 

"Music Note, we are so sorry." Maddie said. 

Music Note, Tom, and Maddie then see Dr. Robotnik's ship come through the gold ring Sonic had came through from his escape from the evil doctor. 

"Oh no." Music Note said. 

Dr. Robotnik's laugh echoes. 

Everyone in town stood and stayed where they were in shock and panic at the sight. 

"You are an astonishing creature. So is "Angel Singer"." Dr. Robotnik said with an evil tone. 

Tom looks down to see the brown bag of gold rings and gets an idea. 

He reaches over and grabs it. 

"It'll be fun to take you and Music Note back to the lab for a little bit of exploratory features. Any last words?" Dr. Robotnik asks evilly. 

Sonic looks up at the evil doctor. 

"M-Music Note. . .I love that name." Sonic said. 

Sonic then passes out. 

"Music Note, distract him for a little bit longer so I can get behind him after going through one of the gold rings." Tom whispers to Music Note. 

Music Note nods in agreement and walks in front of Sonic. 

"You aren't going to take him anywhere." Music Note said. 

"You're just a teenager with Pegasus wings. You won't stop me." Dr. Robotnik said. 

Music Note raised her arms up to protect Sonic from anymore harm. 

Dr. Robotnik laughed evilly at what Music Note was doing. 

"Say night night, "Angle Singer"." Dr. Robotnik said with a evil smirk. 

The doctor pressed another button in his ship to something. 

A red laser beam shot at Music Note's feet, causing her to go backwards onto her stomach. 

Everyone gasped at what happened to Music Note. 

Music Note's wings popped out after being shot at the feet by a red laser beam. 

Tom made a gold ring portal appear behind Dr. Robotnik. 

He jumps onto the ship silently. 

That's when Tom saw an injured Music Note.
