Kuroo Tetsurou [黒尾 鉄朗]

He could say he accepted his feelings fully, without the thought of soulmates faltering him. He really likes Kenma and there's no doubt about it. He couldn't even see himself liking other people other than Kenma, even if they were not meant to be.

Even if Kenma wouldn't reciprocate his feelings.

He's been dropping hints from time to time but it's not like he doesn't do it normally, Kenma would not see it strange or bizarre which is a good thing and a bad thing for him. Good thing since Kenma would not question why he's acting like that, and bad thing since Kenma might not consider his romantic feelings.

It's Thursday morning and as usual, he went to Kenma's house and entered like his own house. It was silent and he could see the cooked breakfast for two on the dining table. No one was home since both of Kenma's parents work out of town and were only present on Monday and Tuesday mornings. The Kozume Enterprise is enlarging anyway so he wasn't that surprised when Kenma's parents are not present always.

But the unusual thing is opening Kenma's room and seeing Kenma wide awake in his uniform while struggling in fixing his tie.

"Good morning, Kuro." Kenma greeted, not looking at him but frowning while fixing his tie.

"Who the hell are you and what have you done to Kenma?!" He widened his eyes and felt flabbergasted in seeing Kenma, standing in front of the mirror and smelling like lavender, a soothing scent he likes from the pudding boy.

He heard a light laugh from Kenma. "You're overreacting. You're scaring Yuna, you know." He saw Kenma continued struggling on his tie. He heaved a sigh and went closer to Kenma to help the boy from doing his tie.

"Seriously, why are you up so early? It's the first time to see you like this." He muttered as he finished fixing Kenma's tie. He looked down and suddenly felt shy when he realized he is too close to Kenma's face and the scent of lavender is more present.

"You told me last night to sleep early and wake up early so I did." Kenma said before muttering a 'thanks' and walking back towards his bed to get his blazer.

"I'm always telling you to do that, but this is the first time you followed me. Is this the end of the world already?" He asked as he lifted Yuna on his arms. Kenma's cat started purring as he caressed its head. "What's with the change of heart, kitten?"

He looked at Kenma and saw the boy's flushed face as he wore his blazer. "I just wanted to try waking up earlier, like what you've been telling me. And I finished the new game I bought faster than I thought."

"Aww, am I being a good influence already? Heh, I'm sure your mother would be surprised to hear her son woke up early because I've been the good friend who's rubbing off to his son."

"Shut up, Kuro. I should have just woke up much earlier and left for school without telling you." Kenma muttered as he walked past by him with a flushed face and walked out of his room.

He followed suit while laughing. "Don't be shy, kitten! Just admit that you're following my advice already."

He was half-expecting already that Kenma would be back to his definition of 'normal' the next day and he was right as he saw the pudding boy, rolled up like a burrito in his sheets. He smiled and laughed lightly at the sight.

Yeah, he prefers waking Kenma up every morning just to see his adorable sleeping face. He wouldn't even mind if he would wake up next to it every day.
