Bamon||Epic Love

"Damon..just tell me the truth. Am I wrong? Tell me that I'm wrong, that everything Im saying right now is insane! Do you have feelings for her?"

"Elena I-I" I stuttered stupidly, trying to find the words to say.
Her eyes locked with mine, trying to find some answer.

"Damon Be honest with me right now!" She was yelling and getting irritated now. But I knew it was because she was afraid, afraid of getting hurt and hearing I had feelings for her best friend.
The mere thought of Bonnie and I ending up together is insane. I don't know why I hesitated.

"I don't have feelings for her Elena. I don't. I only want u, Okay?" I stepped closer, cupping both of her cheeks.

She sighed, feeling relieved.

"Okay, I'm sorry for even thinking that." she chuckled.
I smiled weakly at her as she made her way towards the door and walked out.

"Why are you lying to yourself?" Stefan said entering the room.

"I'm not lying Stefan. You know how insane it would be if Bonnie and I ended up together? We don't go together. We aren't meant to be." I spatted back at him.

"Mhm okay, so answer this question for me. Do you stare at Elena like that? Or any girl at all? Why do your eyes linger longer than they're suppose to when she's not looking? You think I don't notice? Even Caroline knows this." He said obviously, pausing for a second as if waiting for a response, yet realizing he wasn't going to receive one and then continued.

"When you pull her close to you why do you hold her tighter in your embrace? And Why do you go out of your way to have her around longer? Do none of those signs mean anything to you Damon?"

"First of all brother, that was more than one question and I clearly don't have the time to answer all of them this moment or any moment. Second of all, Bonnie and I are best friends. And-"

"What if I knew someone who wanted to go on a date with her?" Caroline said interrupting me.

"Sure just walk in my house like it's yours. I don't mind." Damon said sarcastically
"Why thank you." Caroline smiled and gave Stefan a kiss on the cheek.
" Anyways what are you on about? Who wants to ask Bonnie on a date?" I feel myself start to boil up inside. Just thinking of someone else being with Bonnie angers me. However, I push the feeling away and decide to believe it's because she's my best friend and I want the best for her.

"Getting protective now aren't we there brother?" Stefan says, smirking.

I ignore him and wait for blondie to answer my question.

"It's just this random guy who's in one of our classes at Whitmore. I was gonna let Bonnie know, even if he isn't her type but...If it bothers you that much that she could end up with someone else then I won't tell her."

"You know what? I just want to relax and drink some bourbon without EVERYONE telling me who I have feelings For. Now" I pause and grab my bottle of bourbon,
"Leave me alone."
