Klaus POV:

I had texted Caroline asking her out on a date. After kissing her spontaneously in the woods, I thought it was time to do this properly. I arranged an exquisite picnic date with the sunset in view, and after we'd go horse back riding. Some may say I was over the top but you can never be over the top when it comes to someone you love. And when it comes to Caroline specifically, I would like to show her the world and beyond.

"Where are you taking me?" Caroline giggled, trying to keep her balance.

"It's a surprise love."

I unfolded Caroline's blindfold revealing the surprise I had planned for her. We were on a hill, filled with such beautiful flowers, you'd think they were enchanted. The sun shined brighter than ever, showing off Caroline's features, making them stand out even more than before. The picnic blanket was laid flat on the green grass and the food laid on top of it. Chocolate covered Strawberries, blueberry pie and Caroline's favorite type of blood bag, B positive.

We laid down, enjoying every moment while eating our food. We talked about what we wanted in the near future, our hopes and dreams, our favorite color and what we longed to have more than anything. As Caroline sat enjoying every last bit of the meal, I took this time to sketch her beauty and her contagious smile that, might I add, never left her face.

They walked around, admiring nature's beauty. Although to Klaus Caroline's beauty was far more eye catching than nature's itself. He showed her the way to the white horse he'd had picked out for her to ride. She squealed with joy wrapping her arms around Klaus and pulled away, locked eyes with him, leaned in And close the distance between them leading to a passionate yet tender kiss.

They spent the rest of the evening riding the horse and talking the day away.

Stefan's POV:

I had woken up to Damon's loud music playing at 12 in the afternoon.

"What the hell is going on?" I groaned, rubbing my face.

"Why bother what ever do you mean? I'm enjoying life. You should try it sometime. Also, I see you and Elena got the hots for each other. Good luck with that one dear brother." Damon said smirking when he mentioned Elena's and mine relationship.

"What are you taking about Damon?"

"Oh don't try and play stupid with me Stefan. Bonnie and I saw you guys kiss at the school dance. You didn't hide your affection as well as you guys wanted to." He chuckled.

"It was a friendly kiss." Stefan said defending himself.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." Damon replied, dancing to the music.
