Zamin
A handsome charming 26 year old - engaged to cousin and bestfriend (Hareem) with whom he grew up in same house. He also has another cousin in Hydrabad (Sehar), to whom he is forcefully married by his father, upon Sehar's father's last wish before dying. With time he falls in love with Sehar, but realises his feelings very late. Secretly he supported her, indirectly stood up for her the entire time though. His biggest flaw was having kept his mouth shut for a very long time about his marriage to Sehar. This lead him to having had to later on marry his childhood fiance Hareem too, to whom he never had deep romantic feelings. Sehar's spoken aswell as unspoken support in everything, made him fall deeper and deeper in love with her. Unable to live without her, he would always chase after her once she would go missing. Sehar's love changed him into an indepandant thinking individual.

Sehar
Zamin and Hareem's chachazad cousin living with her father in Hydrabad. Sehar, a beautiful and simple girl whose fiance ditches her on the day of her wedding, to which her father's health deteriots and he gets her married to her cousin Zamin (who had accompanied his father secretly to attend her wedding). Sehar heart warms up to her husband within a short time. Due to their marriage kept a secret from the remaining family members, Sehar faces alot of difficulties especially from her Tayis (aunts). Despite the hard times she found in Zamin, a partner who shared her sorrows, fears and worries. Although life was though for her, she acknowledged the mental pressure on Zamin. Trying to be a supportive wife, she always encouraged him to take decisions which would keep his relations intact. She was also the one, who "forced" her husband to marry Hareem too, so that his family wouldnt turn against him. Alongside trying her best to support Zamin in trying to be just between his wives and form a decent relationship with Hareem. At times she was either blackmailed by the family members or when Zamin's relations would turn against him, in order to make his life "easy"/back to old, she would leave the house only to find herself in deeper problems.
