Sunday Dinner

Carloyn POV

It was good to relax and have fun. No threats at the moment and bounding time. Today was Sunday. The family should be over.  Dad and mom should be back sometime before then and Hunter's dad should be by sooner or after they do. 

It will be Octavia, me, Hunter, Tara before she leaves town, Layffett and his new boo thang Jesus, Godric, Eric, Jessica, and Jason. It should be a nice day. I got up early to clean like a human because I found it relaxing. Everyone was up and I had to go to the store so Hunter and Jessica wanted to come. 

We soon left and went to a couple of different stores.

" Carly I really want to thank you. For saving me and such.  I thought I never see or feel the sun again." Jess said.

" Your welcome and I promise you I try my hardest to save your sister." I said and she smiles.

We soon were back and I start on dinner. Godric came into the kitchen to learn what I was making and talk about what my plans were.

" What you mean?" I said as I was chopping vegetables up.

" I want to travel with you. I wanna see what's out there." He said.

I stop to look him in the eyes and I smiled.

" I love too. I need a break. Octavia can stay here with momma and watch things with Eric and we can travel." I said.

" Can I come?" Hunter said peaking his head into the kitchen.

" I don't know. I'm sure Godric wanted me all to himself." I said and giggle as Hunter made yucky sounds.

" Another time Hunter. I want to learn more about my mate." Godric said.

" What is a mate or a soulmate?" Hunter asked.

"It's your other half. God made souls very big so once he decides they need to be born he splits them in two. They may never meet in that life but they will one day in another. They can be best friends, sisters, brothers, or even the lucky ones they be more. Like me and your cousin. We love each other. We are that more. It like putting a puzzle back together." Godric said.

" So what happens when either of you passes on? Wouldn't that hurt." He said.

" Yes but it's not goodbye. It more of a see you later." I said and Godric nod.

" Do all people find their soul mates? Do I have one?" Hunter said.

" In ways, yes but not all are like Godric and I. Like I said it can be a brother and sister or best friends and that's all they ever be. Its ware for people like us to be in our shoes to have what we do ..mates.  In yes you do have one lucky duck. In years time you meet him or her." I said

Hunter wanted to learn how to cook as well so he stayed to help out. I had Octavia to go do something for me as it was a surprise. I knew she would have Eric help her with it so I be great.

I had things on the stovetop, oven, grill, and smoker. Jason had come earlier so I had him pay attention to those two last ones. He tried telling me off about what happened but I gave him a look and blew a raspberry at him.

Mom and Dad were the second to come and hugs and kisses were the whole things when Tara,Laffeytt, and Jesus came. Jessica came down when Eric and Octavia came with her surprise.

Yeah, you guessed it.

Her baby sister.

" Eden." Jessica said with shock, happiness, and a bit of sadness.

" Jessica." She said soon Jessica was down the stairs hugging her and kissing her all over and making sure she was okay. She wasn't. I smelt blood on her but Eric and Octavia.

I raised an eyebrow as Godric went over to talk to Eric.

" Hey, Jess take her and wash her up. I be up in a minute to give her some my clothes." I said and she nod as she carry her up and I turn to Octavia.

" What happen?' I said.

" Her disgust shit of a father and sorry accuse of a mother...He was beating her and she stood there not doing a damn thing.I snapped and so did Eric." She said.

" Oh father, did she see what you two did." I said with a bit of a hiss.

" I made her fall asleep and closed of her sense. What do you take me for?' she said.

" Amature." I said and she gasped at me.

Not what I wanted to happen but them shit's did it to they selves and will burn. I head up stairs as momma took cover what was going on in the kitchen and hugging the hell out of Hunter.

I wait amount before interrupting they moment. I soon knock against the wall before coming into the room. 

" Hey Eden my name Carloyn. I'm your sister bestfrined and I swear on it no man or woman will ever lay a hand on you ever again. Your sister will tell you what she comfortable thinking your are with since you know she not fully the sister you knew. Now I'm going to get you some clothes. I need to change my self as well." I said an went into my closet. I then hand her some clothes then I got mine out. I go take a shower then I was soon done.

I head down when my father did a double take.

" Oh, Dad you look like your mother." He said before having a glass of something in his hand before walking way sipping. I soon help mom taking everything outside. Eden look more happier and a bit calmer as Hunter was there talking to her. 

' Awn he a sweet heart'

The rest of the men did the same thing my dad did when I came up to the table. The double take. I laugh as I sat down next to Godric.

" Im Carloyn guys. Dear oh mama is right over there." I said and point to her as she and dad was talking.

Soon dinner started and was over. I love the bounding we was doing and we all hug Tara as she was going to hit the road tonight so we wish her well then we wish the others that was leaving to head home goodnight. Dad snap his fingers cleaning everything up and we head inside and a surprising guess came.
