Marli decided to just sit outside on the picnic table and calm down, and then she saw her mom, and stood up to greet her and Abel.

"Hey baby," She said as she kissed her daughter's forehead.

And then as her mom looked at her face, she knew something was wrong.

"Sweetheart, what's wrong?" Her mom asked as she grabbed her daughter's chin and made her look into her eyes.

"Just some crow eaters. It was nothing," Marli said as she forced a smile.

"Okay, if you're sure baby. Let's go inside," Her mom said as she started pushing Abel, and Marli walked slowly back into the clubhouse behind her mother.

She saw Happy talking to he crow eaters that were in the kitchen and he didn't look exactly thrilled.

"You three are not allowed back in this clubhouse and I will be talking to the others about you," Happy's voice was very deep and very threatening as he talked to the girls.

Gemma quickly realized that Happy was handling the situation with the crow eaters that her daughter mentioned.

"What happened?" Gemma asked Happy, who was telling the girls to get the hell out and not come back.

"Those three said some shit about Marli," Happy explained as he grunted and walked away.

Gemma looked back at her daughter with concern on her face.

"Honey, what did they say?" Her mom said it in almost command instead of a question and it made Marli almost rill her eyes.

"Called me a fatso," Is all Marli said as she shrugged her shoulders and pretended like it didn't bother her the way it did.

"Marlowe Jane," Her mom was using her "mom" voice to get her to admit more than she was letting one.

"That blonde, she said that Hap would never be with me because I'm not skinny and blonde," As she admitted that, her mom sighed.

Gemma knew all about her daughter's crush on the killer, and now she knew why her daughter was so upset about what the girls said.

"Oh honey, don't listen to those whores," Her mom said as she kissed her daughter's cheek and proceeded to walk off.

.

Marli sat at the bar, drinking a red wine, and listening to Metallic as it blared throughout the clubhouse.

It was still a couple of hours before the party started, so she was just waiting.

"Come on, outside," Hap said as he tapped her shoulder, and she sighed and grabbed her glass, and got up to follow him.

She didn't know what was going to happen.
