Awakening

I woke up alone in a luxurious looking bedroom. There was a thick black duvet on top of me, and the pillows smelled like the smoke from a fire. It was so rich that I could almost hear the wood crackling.

I sat up to take in my surroundings. There was a large, rectangular coffee table across the room, and a large black couch.

I heard someone talking just outside the door, and I recognized the deep voice instantly as Kylo's. I tried to make out what he was saying, or who he was even talking to.

The doors opened suddenly and I slammed my head back down onto the pillows.

Thick black boots stopped directly in front of me and I could feel someone's body heat radiating over me.

"I know you're awake, Myn." He said.

Shit.

"Feeling better?"

Hesitantly, I opened my eyes and looked up at his hideous mask.

"I guess so. Where are we, your bedroom?" I joked.

"Yes." The monotone voice rumbled.

"Seriously? Why'd you put me in your bed?" I sat back up and threw the blanket off of me with disgust. Kylo stepped back as I hopped down onto the floor.

I groaned and almost fell over. My body was weak and malnourished. The poison might still be affecting me as well, despite the antidote I was given.

"Are you alright?" He asked, holding his hand out to steady me.

I swatted at him, I didn't want his help.

"Fine." I spat and turned away from him. "So what now?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you've tortured me, Hux has tortured me. I still don't know where Luke is. What else could you possibly want from me?"

He didn't respond.

"Are you just going to keep me here forever?" I felt that familiar rage boiling up in my body again. Everything I've gone through on this ship has been for nothing.

Kylo turned around and took off his mask, walking past me to place it on the coffee table. The adrenaline began pumping through me and I stopped trying to control my emotions.

"Don't fucking ignore me!" I screamed as I charged at him. He turned around in time to see me closing in, but I was quick.

I leapt into the air and turned, throwing my full weight at him. I kicked both feet at his chest and pushed. He stumbled backwards and I fell onto my hands and knees. Immediately, I jumped back up.

Kylo lunged for me, and I headbutted his nose. There was the rewarding sound of a bone snapping. He grabbed me by the neck, kicked my legs out from under me and slammed me into the floor. I tried to sit up, but he pushed my shoulders down and put both knees on either side of my waist.

He leaned over me, his wavy hair brushing against my cheeks.

"Try that again and I'll hurt you."

"You already did." I wheezed.

"You are here because you are my prisoner. I need you alive for the time being. Now if you don't learn to behave, I'll-" I interrupted his half-assed explanation to spit in his face. I was met with a harsh slap across my cheek.

My face burned but I kept my eyes locked on his. His nose brushed mine, and I felt a drop of blood fall onto my upper lip.

"Get off of me." I glowered at him.
