„If I don't answer, then I'm to hundred percent driving fast cars, you know?", a small chuckle was to hear, what brought a small smile on my lips, „Just leave a massage." The answer phone ended and the silence full again the room. The rain outside pattered agains the big windows and bring me back to 2014. It was the same weather, in the same city. But on this day, they made the wrong decision, not like today. Maybe they learned out of the things that happened, but this don't bring you back. I felt how the tears started to full my eyes again and I tried to hold them back. You don't wan't me to cry, I know that, but I can't hold it back.
Every morning I wake up, the first thought that fills my mind is you. On good days, it's you smiling and laughing. All the lovely moments that we had, back in the karting days. But on the bad days, like today, all the memories of your crash came back. How you lost the control of your car in the heavy rain. FIA should have decide to stop that race, then you will be here, sitting next to him.
I let out a loud sob, couldn't hold it longer back and started to cry. The tears covered my checks and I didn't even tried to stop, because I knew it would bring nothing. I wished it was me instead of you. You didn't deserved this. You should be here and have this seat by Ferrari. I remembered how you told me once, when I wanted to gave up the karting, I shouldn't give up, because I can do this day by day. You were right, you were always right. I will win all this races, the championship for the two of us. I'm trying to be the best of me to make you proud and to reach all this what we dreamed of together. You looked down on me, I know that and I want to gave you reasons to smile. More and more tears run down my checks and also my sobs got louder, I wish you where here by my side.
I promised you to make it and everything I'm winning and reaching is for you. You are still here, in everything I'm doing. All that blood that is running trough me, i feel, it's yours. I know you are waiting and I swear you we see us again, when I reached all the things what we wanted to do together.
