I suppose I should get this out of the way to whoever reads this. I am Corvus. I am a warlock, well, as of recently I am a warlock. I am one of 7 especially gifted children, gifted with the elements. I am especially gifted with the elemental energy that radiates from the shadows, all of darkness will cause me to thrive. Or at least it will sooner or later. I'm a scholar beyond that, I was raised with my eyes scanning books, a street urchin who stole from libraries. Until, well, that isn't important. I suppose in my world, at a young age you have to learn how to use a weapon. So I learned how to use polearms, glaives, halberds, hell even scythes. I suppose that's enough about me. And there are seven of us. I guess I'll introduce you to the rest.
Dracius is a giant, even among his kin. A dragonborn, masses of flesh, scale, and muscle. He's a skilled smith, growing up among flame and metal alike. And due to this we all have him forge our armor and weapons. I'd say he's our strongest fighter, but Tellus exists. But then again, Tellus is a pacifist. To nobody's surprise, he's our follower of flame.
If Dracius was our smith, Tellus is his supplier. He's got an innate connection to the earth, he can go through caves and discern ore from regular stone better than any of us. He's a member of an odd race. Creatures believed to be born from a magical accident in which a sorcerer tried to fuse two constructs, but ended up fusing itself into the construct. The being born of it was an unfortunate elemental of flesh and earth. He's our strongest fighter, well, he beats out any of us in pure strength, but again, he doesn't like fighting and leaves that to Dracius, while he safeguards us all with his shield... well, all of us aside from Dracius because Dracius is our weighty blade, and Tellus is our stone hard shield.
Then there's Colubra. He was our hunter. He's probably one of the best aims that I've seen while also being flexible. Surprisingly, he doesn't walk down Nature's path, but, well, if I were to tell you he's a descendant of the sky serpents, you wouldn't be surprised that his arrows are shot like lightning bolts, and his cannon's boom is thunderous.
Lumis. Our Cleric, our healer, whatever you want to say. She's probably been the reason all of us are still alive on multiple occasions. She's an aasimar, always had a connection to the deities, and in her specific case, Life itself.
Bruma is, well, she's the opposite of Dracius. If Dracius was aggressive, and passionate, or, to put it more symbolically, like a fire. Bruma is like ice, cold, disinterested, and like ice and fire, the two are natural rivals to eachother. Her past is odd. While everybody else has a job to fill around the place. She doesn't. She'd probably be a really good mercenary, but that's neither here nor there.
Facies is a farmer at heart. And by spirit, a druid. She is probably the reason the 7 of us have been able to eat, especially through the winter. And, she's also the reason we found this village. It's been abandoned for a while but none of us really understand as to why it has been. Well, up until recently. She's a gentle and kind person, not as much as Lumis, but, still, kinder than most of us.
