Panic in My Heart

Chapter 2

After we got backstage to "5SOS's" dressing room, Ashton began introducing us to the band members. "Erica, Emmie, this is Luke, Calum, and Michael." He said while pointing to each member. The first member he pointed to was Luke. He was a blonde haired blue eyed boy. He was very attractive, actually they were all attractive. But Luke also had a lip piercing.. Which I normally don't agree with but his looked great. The next one he pointed to was Calum, Calum was a black haired brown eyed boy who was also fairly attractive. The last one was Michael, Michael looked very punk rock.. He had an eyebrow piercing, green eyes, and dyed red hair.. Needless to say, he looked pretty badass. After introducing us the boys all have us hugs and said "Nice to meet you" in their glorious Australian accents. While waiting for PATD to get done with their photo op, we sat in 5SOS's dressing room and talked. By the time PATD was done, we all knew pretty much everything about each other.

Finally, time to meet PATD! My dream come true..

When the band got to us, Ashton was the first to speak, considering he was the one that brought us backstage. "Hey Brendon! Um I hope you don't mind but I found these two girls that were dying to meet you," he said in a girly tone, "this is Erica and Emmie." Ashton said while gesturing towards us. "Hi guys! It's nice to meet some of our fans! How long have you guys liked PATD?" Brendon asked us. I spoke up first, "actually I've listened to you guys pretty much as long as y'all have been around. I was about 7 or 8 when my cousin introduced me to your music. And I introduced Emmie to your music about 3 years ago when me and her became friends." Emmie chimed in next, "yeah at first I did not want to listen to your songs, because Erica was into some "darker" music than I was used to. But finally I let her talk me into listening to one of your songs. And ever since we've jammed out to your music together." Brendon looked at me and said, "well that's pretty awesome that you've been a fan since you were 7! Kind if young to listen to our music though, but still pretty awesome! And I'm glad you've been introducing people to our music! It really helps us out a lot!" Then he turned to Emmie and said, "and thank you for finally giving it a try and not being disappointed." He kind if chuckled and then said, "shall we go get some food?" We all agreed and we were off to go find some food in Atlanta. We all piled into a huge limo that I assumed belonged to PATD. While riding around we played never have I ever and other games to get to know each other. Turns out, me and Emmie were the only innocent ones.

By the time we got to the restaurant we pretty much knew everything about each other. So we were more comfortable around each other instantly... As if we had always been friends. We were quickly seated considering it was late and we were with two very famous bands...

After we ate, we all piled back into the limo and headed to the hotel. Me and Emmie had talked to our parents, and they agreed to let us stay a few nights in Atl with 5SOS as long as me and Emmie stayed in our own room... Even though we stayed in the penthouse with the band, we had a little room to ourselves... Which technically goes by the rules right?

Many hours and horrible inside jokes later, Ashton decided he wanted to talk to me alone out on the balcony. We attempted to nonchalantly exit the living room without getting teased by the boys and Emmie. But, we failed at that task. They all were like "uh oh" "don't get too wild" "remember to use protection". That was a little new to me, but whatever. After we made it out on the balcony, me and Ashton sat beside each other on the outdoor couch...
"So, tell me about yourself." Ashton said while looking deep into my eyes.
"Well," I said nervously looking down, "what would you like to know about me?" Ashton thought for a second, and then said, "your story." I thought for a second before replying. "My story?" I said. "Yeah. Your story, where you grew up, your favorite thing to do, favorite color, food, band, what all happened to you when you were little. Anything you can think of that has happened in your life and what describes you." Ashton said thoughtfully.
"Well.." I began and paused to think. "I grew up in a small town here in Georgia about an hour and a half away from Atl. I'm actually currently still living there. My favorite thing to do is draw, I love the color purple, my favorite food is any type of pasta or chicken, my favorite bands are PATD and MCR, when I was little I was a dancer and softball player, but had to quit both due to me breaking my ankle 4 times spraining it twice and having a stone bruise once. Hmm," I paused to think again, "when I was about 6 I lost my great grandfather who was my best friend, then lost his wife 2 years later because she couldn't live without him. At 10 I lost a family friend that was pretty much my second dad, in middle school I was bullied to the point where I starved myself and self-harmed, in 9th grade I lost my grandmother and had to become the rock of my family and had no time to grieve, also in my 9th grade year, I had a boyfriend who cheated on me and tried to force me to have sex with him, and always tried to take my clothes off. My sophomore year, I had my heart broken by a soccer player who I was in love with, he broke up with me for another girl, who ended up cheating on him. And this year, actually recently I had a guy lead me on and then completely crushed me by commenting on other girls pictures calling them "beautiful" "sexy" "hot" and more. And now I met you.. Possibly the sweetest guy I have met. And I am 17 and in the 11th grade." I finished. "Alright now your turn" I answered. "Well," Ashton began with a pause, "I was born in Hornsby, Australia, my dad left me and my family when I was younger, I love playing the drums, I graduated from Richmond high school. I like heavy music. My favorite color is red. I joined 5SOS in 2011. My favorite food is spaghetti. I was in a band named "swallow the goldfish" before 5SOS. I auditioned for the X factor in 2010. I was bullied in school and used to self harm as well. I never really fit in. And girls didn't like me all that much. I had my first kiss at 16 and now here I am, a drummer for a successful band." He finished proudly. "Well that's interesting" I say to him in a weird voice. "So," Ashton said, "you want a strawberry daiquiri?" I thought for a second, and replied with "sure! Why not? What could it hurt?" So Ashton took my hand and led me to the kitchen. When we walked through the living room we realized that everyone had passed out on the couch while watching frozen. Hmm that's a strange movie to watch I thought giggling a little under my breath. Ashton looked at me with his piercing hazel eyes and smiled. When we reached the kitchen, Ashton got out the blender, liquor, and strawberry daiquiri mix. After making the daiquiris, he handed me one and said "Bon appetit" in a horrible French accent. And so we toasted and began drinking....
