chapter 2 - am starting to think bumping people is your thing

"Shit" i grasped;taking up my phone on the nightstand it was minutes after midnight
an yeah Sass an Lane went home around seven just before mom and dad came home . I guess i fell asleep,but remembering i had an assignment due tomorrow too consume in thoughts to remember that damn assignment
Well damn I can't really turn in late to do the assignment everyone knows how miss Smith grimace on tardiness,so if I do skip school i have to give a reason to my mom so let's say fake sick day  an how the  hell am gonna do
i quickly scroll through my contacts for Sass name after about three seconds i quickly press her number about the fourth ring there's an answer

       

Hey Sass sorry to wake you but  I have a problem I forget about that assignment miss Smith gave us; i said in a sleepy voice

No kidding I actually texted you four times about the assignment; she voice in more sleepy tone

uh um sorry I guess I fell asleep so  can you cover for me tomorrow you know our teacher plus my mom

Yessssss  girl what you need me to do; she said on the verge of sleeping

Ahh Sass have you heard a word i said
can you cover for me tomorrow

ooh yeah sure what are best friends for you know she said; sounded wide awake

I really love my friends, i couldn't ask for any other an they know I'll do anything for them same as they'll do anything for me  (BFFL)    what can i say trust, believe and respect an not just those ya but  is the cue of friendship

I remember one time i had a little accident someone bump the front of my car an my mom was gonna take away the car an they help convince my mom that it wasn't my fault the person ran into me I was not distracted an she actually let me keep it i love them so much.

I spent half an hour thinking what to tell Mom i finally came up with something .

So i grab my phone from the nightstand an it was twenty minutes to two am i sighed
I started playing Candy crush until thirty minutes later my eyelids felt heavy being so tired from what i don't know  before i  new i went into deep sleep.

I woke up about  five hours later so glad I didn't set an alarm that damn beep drives me crazy why can't it be a catchy song , something from Chris Brown or BTS that would have been better, not a second after I heard a knock at the door

"sweety or you up time to get ready for school she said; kracking the door ajar an peek her head in,
"Mom i don't feel so good, i said; in a sickly tone ,i didn't have to look to know she's by my bedside because i heard her footsteps she leen over an place a hand to my collarbone
"oh sweety you have a high fever anything else she ask; apologetic
"um yeah my head is thumping i reply; trying to sit up
"Ok or you able to go or you can rest home
"I think I'll rest home I look at her to see her reaction
"Fine stay her while I get you a glass of water an aspirin or pain killers ,
she ask the last part a question i sad pain killers she nod an exited my room ,
she came back a minute later with pain killers and water she handed me and sat on my bed
i took the pain killers an swallowed with water

"Sweety i gotta get going but I'll leave  you thirty so later on if you feel better you can buy something at grocery store or McDonald's   she said; kissing my forehead ,
"yeah ok mom i love you' i reply,  she hurried through the door not before saying i love you too sweety .
