galand was 2 years older than asta and yuno. being like a big brother to them unlike them he wasn't abandoned he ran away from his home due to A series of unfortunate events.

Asta and yuno we're going to the church after training. for the magic Knight exam that's when they heard a loud boom.
Asta: whoa what was that you think somebody's attacking us.
yuno: it's probably just a spell that missed.
???: They're both wrong it's your favorite big brother. by default of course.
Just as they hear that mysterious voice. that sound very familiar the dust cloud around the explosion they heard cleared up. and what they saw was indeed their big brother y/n.
Asta: y/n you came to visit us.
y/n: I came to visit you guys to make sure you're doing okay before the Magic Knight exam.
yuno: big bro how's the magic nights trading you.
y/n: I'm been doing well. I hope you guys been getting the money I've been sending.
As y/n it says this he's petting yuno head. she has a small blush on her face.
Asta: we have we're able to get really good food. and have you met the wizard King.
y/n: yes I have but as much as I love to tell you the story about it. I would love to hear more about what. happened here especially after. I got a letter saying you to got attacked by EX magic Knight.
Time skip to Magic Knight exam.
As Asta was getting chased around by Anti-magic birds. he ran into the captain of the black bulls Yami. as he began to apologize to the captain of the black bulls. he felt his head being squeezed and being lifted up. by Yami But before Yami could squeeze his head more. another hand grabbed the captain's arm this arm belong to Asta Big brother.
y/n: careful Captain you might hurt his head even more than he has. he might not be that smart but he still needs a head.
Asta: hey what's that supposed to mean I'm playing smart.
y/n: now with that magic juice you're drinking all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if your head was filled with stuff.
yuno: he's right Asta that stuff tastes terrible. I don't even understand how you can drink it.
y/n: I'll have to go see you guys later come on captain we don't want to be late.
After he said that he began to walk with his captain. to where they were supposed to be. as they were doing this they had a conversation.
y/n: especially since I don't want to get in trouble with the captain of the Golden Dawn. he gives me a weird feeling like he's trying to hide something.
Yami: I'm sure it's nothing. I mean what does he have to hide. he's the captain of the Golden Dawn.
y/n: yeah I know. but he wears that mask all the time. I mean I don't think I've ever seen him without it.
Yami: yeah true. but maybe that's just cuz he doesn't want people in his personal life.
y/n: yeah I guess you're right captain.
Author's note: sorry it took so long to write this chapter I've just been busy with school a lot but I will be trying to write a lot more chapters of other stories and this story in the future Also sorry for the lack of punctuation I tried to get this chapter out as soon as possible I'll add it in later
