The alarm clock flashed 6:58 am. Makoto was still asleep. Two minutes later the clock goes off, letting out a loud beep. Makoto wouldn't wake up. After about 15 minutes of constant beeping, he barely opened his eyes. He realized he had slept in and jumped up and rushed to get ready for school, which he was now late for. As he was running down the hall he heard a loud banging coming from the front door. He threw the door open only to find Haru who has been obviously very worried. Makoto noticed that Haru was sweaty and panting.
"Haru! Did you run all the way here?!" Makoto asked.
"Y-yes.. You weren't.. In s-school." Haru said, still panting, putting his hands on his knees.
"Oh.. Yeah I slept in.. Anyway, lets go to school now." Makoto said, pulling Haru's hand.
