Davina McCall, the daughter of Scott McCall and Lydia Martin, a pair that no one expected to have a child together.
When Davina was 5 they moved out of California, and to Virginia, to Mystic Falls, to be precise.
She met Elena Gilbert, Caroline Forbes, and Bonnie Bennet, and became immediate friends, the four of them made a pact, that no matter what happened they would always be there to protect, to help, and to guide one another.
It was their sophomore year when Elena and Davina went to a party out at the falls together, but Davina wandered away from the party and met a man, of course she doesn't remember this as I compelled her not to.
I was at the falls for Elena. You see, when I first saw her I thought she was Katherine, turns out she wasn't. But her, she took my breath away.
When she walked to where I was, well I guess we should just go into a flashback.
*flashback*
Davina was standing with Matt and Elena, when they started to argue, she decided she didn't want to be apart of that conversation so she walked away.
She ended up wandering to where the street was, she saw a man standing there looking up at the sky.
"Who are you?" She asks "are you here for the party?" She asks again "my name is Davina, and I'm here with my friend Elena, are you here with someone?" She asks once again.
The man turned around to face her causing her to scrunch her face in confusion "aren't you a little too old for a high school party?" She questions "oh I'm way too old" the man responds "well then, what are you doing here?" She asks "I'm waiting for someone" the man vaguely responds
"Who?" Davina asked again "you sure do ask a lot of questions" he responds, she just shrugged, "what are you doing out here and not at the party?" He asked her "my friend, Elena, you know the one I came with, and her boyfriend got into a fight, and I did not want to apart of that conversation, so here I am" she explained
"Hmmm" the man replies "what does 'hmmm' mean?" She asked "there you go with the questions, let me ask you a question" the man says "wait me first" she says "sweet heart you've been asking questions" he says "well this is the last one" she said "fine" he huffed "what is your name?" She asked "my name is Damon Salvatore" Damon says
"Ok, Damon, ask your question" Davina says "ok, Davina, what do you want? Like in life, what do you want?" Damon asks "I don't know what I want" Davina answers honestly, "sure you do, you want what everyone else wants" Damon says "which is what?" Davina asked him
"you want a love that consumes you, a love so strong that when your away from each other you feel empty, a love so strong that you can't breath without them, a love so strong that you always watch the clock just waiting for the moment to be with them. You want someone to be selfish with you and for you to selfish with them" Damon tells her
"But that doesn't exist, you fall in love but it never consumes you, you never get that feeling" Davina said "sure it does, you just have to choose, are you gonna wait for it to find you or are you gonna find it?" Damon questions
"How do you know this?" Davina asked "because I've been around for a long time, and I had an epic love once upon a time, but I lost her, and I'm trying to find her" Damon speaks vaguely "well when you find her what are you going to do?" Davina asked "you know the better question is, what are you gonna do when you find your epic love?" Damon asked her
"I'm gonna love them, flaws, mistakes, past, and baggage, because that's what you do, you love them for the person they can be, or the person they are, not the person the were" Davina answers "your pretty smart" Damon says "I get it from my mom" Davina says
Damon was gonna say something, but he heard someone coming, so he sped to Davina and looked in her eyes "your not gonna remember this conversation, you came out here and looked at the stars, Elena came and got you and you left" Damon compels her "I came out here to look at the stars, Elena came and got me and we left" she repeats in a monotone voice
Damon looked at her one last time before speeding away.
"Davina what are you doing out here?" Elena questions, walking up to the girl standing in the middle of the street staring at the stars, "I was looking at the stars" Davina says "ok, well my parents ore on their way, are you still spending the night?" Elena questions
"Yeah, lets go" Davina said
*flashback over*
That night their car went over the bridge and my little brother, being the saint he is, saved Davina and Elena.
That night was the start of something unexplainable in this small little town.
