Beads of sweat covered Linh's face as she woke up to a crowd of faces staring at her. Tam sat beside her as he whispered " Same dream? Are you sure you are ok?"
"I'm fine, Just a little nightmare guys" Linh reassured her friends as she saw their faces etched with worry.
"You were screaming Linh like you would never stop." said Sophie barely louder than a whisper
" We shook you over and over again but you wouldn't wake up" Dex ushered
"I'm fine, it was just a nightmare" she said over and over again trying to reassure her friends
But is it just a nightmare she thought it didn't feel like one
Se had been dreaming the same thing over and over for a week now. Everytime she would wake with her face covered in sweat and her friends would say that she had been screaming. Elwin and physic took a look at her but they said that nothing was wrong. Wylie, her boyfriend, was still MIA ever since he went to find Alvar. Everything felt wrong. She felt like she didn't fit in anymore. Even when she was with her friends.
Tam is the same except the fact that he is dating Biana. Dex is consumed with his technopath abilities. Sophie doesn't realize that Keefe and FItz like her. ANd the dreams get worse and worse until sometimes she has to try her hardest to control just even a bucket of water. It feels like she's losing control.
She hated the dreams. It all started at the same place. Atlantis. SHe would be with her friends shopping. Even though she didn't really like shopping, she would still be happy to spend time with them. Then it would break. The dome would shatter and she would try to protect her friends but she couldn't. Panic swelled in her chest. She could hear people screaming for help, she could see her friends holding each other's hands as they realized what was going to happen. Scanning her surroundings, Linh would find a float with people on it and she would swim there and get on it. She would ask the people why the dome broke? They would all point to her and say that she broke it. Then she realized that her hands were glowing. They were controlling the water. It was her fault. All her fault. Then she would wake up screaming.
