It was another tough night for you

It was another tough night for you. You had woken up around 4, gasping for air, beads of sweat running down your face. You felt like you were never going to get at least one night of peaceful sleep.

You remained awake for the next few hours, officially getting out of bed at about 6:30. You walked into Spencer's kitchen, deciding to make breakfast as a little thank you gesture for him.

You noticed that he was still asleep on the couch and couldn't help but to just gaze at his sleeping face. You thought it was a bit weird, but he just looked so peaceful when he slept. You smiled to yourself and sighed, going back to look through his pantry to see what you could make this morning.

You turned on the stove and started mixing ingredients together, choosing to make some pancakes and bacon, nothing exciting.

You hummed softly to yourself as you cooked, occasionally yawning due your lack of sleep.

This all felt surreal to you. The fact you were kidnapped, that you even slept over at Spencer's apartment. It was all hitting you at once now.

You didn't cry. You were just numb.

You flipped the last pancake with ease, and turned off the burners. You made both of your plates and turned around to go place them on the table, only to be facing the sleepy looking Reid.

You gasped, jumping slightly when you saw him.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to startle you." He said, a concerned look on his face. He really didn't. He had only gotten up a few minutes ago, but when he saw you cooking and enjoying yourself, he just watched you.

"It's fine, next time warn a girl will ya?" You joked, laughing quietly and walking over to the small table.

"You didn't have to do this y'know?" He said, looking at you as he yawned. He smiled a little to himself afterwards.

"You didn't have to let me stay here either...but here we are." You looked at him from the corner of your eye and smirked.

The sudden realization hit you that you were just wearing his shirt and your underwear. Your cheeks reddened and you quickly set the plates down.

He sat down and looked up at you as you stood there.

"Just stuff your mouth already, Reid." You said, awkwardly crossing your arms and backing up.

He watched as you left the kitchen and went back into his room.

You changed back into your pants from last night and plopped onto the bed. You wrapped your arms around your torso and stared at the ground.
