Short story 9 🚘 - The Road Trip

Life has been super busy for us with Plan being a chef and me being in the entertainment industry. Plan had not completely left the entertainment industry. He still hosted Cooking,Travel and Chat shows.

My career had grown at a fast pace. I already had build a new home for my parents. After renting my old condo I shifted into a new apartment. It was 10 years since we met and 7 years into our relationship that we decided to live together. Living apart was making things difficult for us. We could not see each others for days together.

I want to see you when I get up and before I go to bed at night is what I had said when I proposed to Plan the idea of us living together. That followed with people knowing we were dating and dealing with their positive and negative reactions.

But it was the best decision we had made.

I had gone with my best friends Tonnam and Gun to have dinner at the restaurant that Plan was working for. My manager Nook had also accompanied us. There was a smile on the waiters face the moment he saw us. The owner of the restaurant Tay, also came to greet us.

"Plan is in a super excited mood today. One month of leave from work. It's nice you managed that. Plan has only been on vacations with his family and after he comes back he eats New's and my head for at least a week over how he doesn't like going on those trips without you." Tay said smiling

After we had food we went to the bar section of the restaurant which was lively with music and people dancing. The bar section was frequented by the elite. It was a nice place to spend time with friends while waiting for Plan.

A lady had asked us to dance with her friends. She had taken every opportunity to touch me and dance close to me.

Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. Plan was standing right next to me.
"Love , are we good to go " I asked him.
"Yes" he replied with the sweetest smile.
The lady had now stopped dancing staring at Plan.

Plan was talking with Gun, Tonnam and Nook. They were giving him loads of advice regarding the trip we had planned. They wished us Happy Journey.

After saying our goodbyes we exited the place. My hand was wrapped around Plan's waist holding him close to me. Plan leaned resting his head on me. He raised his head to look at me. I bent down and kissed him. "I love you" I said

How can I live without him I thought

We reached home and Plan straight away headed to the bathroom. Later while he was packing the bags I headed to have bath. After that I ran one final check to see if we had everything we needed.

Next morning Plan's best friend Title was there waiting for us to take us to the airport.

We slept for most of the part of the flight. The meals served on the plane were exotic and we clicked enough pics to send it to our friends and family.

Once we arrived at our destination there was Nick waiting for us at the airport to pick us. I had never mentioned about Nick to Plan.

I greeted Nick with a hug. Nick looked at Plan and smiled.

"Let me introduce you to my boyfriend Plan. He is a Chef and Plan this is Nick. I know Nick since school days. Nick has been living in New Zealand since 4 years. He is a director" I said

After they had greeted each other we drove to Nick's house.

Nick's house was close to the beach. The ride to his place was so scenic. I had so much to talk to Nick and catch up with the times we had lost.

Once we reached Nick's house he showed us our room. "Freshen up and then we can go to the club. I have to introduce you to some well known people from the entertainment industry here in New Zealand. It will help us when we start shooting my film. You will get a lot of exposure." Nick said
