Chapter 1: The Exam

Sarah and Tiffany were studying hard for the exam and also working hard to  save money.  They work as waitresses in a restaurant close to college. Back at home, Teresa is thinking of selling the restaurant to pay for their debts. "Mom, what of we sell the restaurant? The money we get from it will be used to pay our debts." Said Teresa. Grandma said "I don't agree with you. You can't just make this decision on your own. This will be discussed after Sarah's graduation." A week later, the exam day has finally arrived.  She wrote the exam beautifully well and was sure she did well. Two weeks gone, Tiffany and Sarah we're still working this time, they did two jobs a day. The restaurant where they were working at during the day, Sarah encountered a rude customer. "Is this what you serve here? What rubbish is this?" Said The rude customer. "Sorry Sir, I'll just get you another one. Excuse me." Said Sarah. Damian and his brother Travis where at another table discussing business. I need to get a good lawyer that will help me with the legal works of the company. I fired the old one. She's useless." Said Damian. They were interrupted by the incident in the restaurant. Sarah went in and got another cup of coffee with extra whip just as The rude customer demanded. "Here is your coffee, sir." Said Sarah. The rude customer took the coffee looked at it and poured it on Sarah. Sarah screamed in pain because the coffee was hot. Damian seeing what happened, stood up with his red wine and went over to where the rude customer is seated and bumped into the customer thereby pouring the wine on the white suit of the rude customer. "Oh, my bad, I thought someone wasn't here. Oh and your suit is beautiful." Damian said sarcastically. Everyone laughed at the rude customer and he was ashamed and embarrassed so he left. "Miss, (Damian called out to Sarah) are you alri....( Sarah left the scene before he could finish his sentence) "where did she go? I hope she's alright." Said Damian. "Sarah! Tiffany called out to her friend. I'm sorry for what happened earlier." Sarah who was sobbing earlier wiped her tears and the coffee off her face with a face wipe. " It's ok Tiffy, I just have to be strong so I'll fulfill I and dad's dream. Tiffany hugged her friend.
The results were out and emailed to every student's email account. "Oh my God! It's finally here. Tiffy, let's open our emails together ok?" Said Sarah. Tiffany said "ok" and they both counted 1,2,3 and they opened their email together. They both shouted for joy as their hard work paid off. "I got an A!" Said Sarah. Tiffany said " I got a B!" They faced each other with a wild smile on their faces and said to each other "We are graduating soon!" And they giggled.  The next one week was a very busy week for them. Back at home, Teresa and Grandma are discussing on how to attend Sarah's graduation. "Mom, I gave some money we can use to attend Sarah's graduation. Please let's start preparing ourselves to go to London." Said Teresa. "Oh my, Teresa, it's in 2 weeks, so we still have time. I want to see my sweet Sarah again." Said Grandma.
