i jumped up from my nap hearing phone ringing , i grabbed it squinting at the name , i just let it ring it was my annoying ass cousin
i got up making my bed up again
[ i know im not the only person that make my bed up everytime i get out of it , maybe i am . lmao ]
i sat back down looking over my ig for a play , even tho everything starting to close down for that bullshit corona shit even our schools , and im mad as hell its my senior year
i saw my friend jaz , post something on her story asking for a play i facetimed her she answered on the second ring
"bitch whats the play where everybody at"i said chuckling , she scrunched up her face
"not samiya asking that"she started laughing hard as fuck
"youn even come outside enough to be worried bout a play - im not worried about that im tryna come outside today"i cut her off
"me and some of my friends just chilling over at my crib you can pack yo shit and come over here"she shrugged sitting her phone down
"bet ima be dere in a lil bit"i hung up as i got up walking over to my closet , grabbing my bag that was already packed , i always have clothes packed for stuff like this
i sat it on the bed before leaving out my room heading to the other side of the house
"ma" i yelled out as i got closer to her room
"im about to go to jaz house"i said before flopping down on her bed
"what if i wanted you home with me this week" i chuckled
"uh den idk , have another child"i shrugged
"it ain't nothing to do out here with these suburban kids anyways ma"she looked at me
"you just wanna be a rich hoodrat huh"i laughed
"bi- girl"i said catching myself before i actually said it
"so how you getting to her house"she said looking up at me while folding clothes
"uh you duh" , i said pointing to her
"ok samiya go get ya stuff" she said as i rolled off her bed smiling
as you can probably tell by now im the only child , and we stay in the suburbs, but my dad was a big drug dealer , key word was he passed when i was 6 , gun violence , but he still has people working for him you know that typa thing .
"come on samiya"i heard my mama say snapping me out of my thoughts , i grabbed my purse and my duffle bag hurrying down the stairs
"dont forget yo mask"my mama yelled back at me while i was trying to lock the door , i looked to see it hanging on my purse , i locked the door and headed to the car , i played a song by rod wave

" i wrote this song for you so you should pay attention"i mumbled looking down at my phone while my mom drove
i heard the music gettig turned down , i looked up , "so what y'all posed to be doing over here"
"ion even really know , she just told me i should come cause i said i was bored" she nodded
"you got yo card and stuff ? , when you plan on coming home"
"yea im good and i really dont even know " i said chuckling she nodded , she really like my best friend i call her for everything really for real .
"ok" she said turning the music back up

"see you later love you too" my mama responded to me as i got out the car walking up to jaz's door
i knocked and she answered on the first knock
"hey girllll"she said pulling me into a hug squeezing me tight , before moving out the way so i could walk in
i looked around seeing like 3 boys and a girl sitting on the couch
i waved they all waved back , "y'all this samiya my friend " she introduced me to them "wassup" i heard a kind of chubby boy say
"thats shanti , tre , dee , huncho"she said pointing to dem
"my new friends period"i said doing the little hand motion
"oh no its slow"dee said making all of us burst out laughing
"boy fuck you"i said causing him to smirk at me
"noooo" i chuckled , "yea like dat" he said laughing
i shook my head , "say man im hungry"tre said rubbing his stomach
"you always hungry fat ass"jaz said making him swing his neck towards her
"no yo long snapple bottle head ass didnt" i almost chocked , i caught myself
"why would you say that everybody know her head long already"i spoke trying not to laugh, making him look at me
"you aint got no eyebrows get back" i died laughing "on god i don't"i said making everybody erupt in laughter
"i like her"huncho spoke up , "yea she funny"jaz said making me smile i like knowing that new people like me makes me know that i got a good vibes , you know ?
