The Dragon King (Acnologia X OC)

Chapter Four ~ Anna Heartfilia

When Anna first heard of the two of them it was through simply word of mouth, rumors really because some of the gossip around them was frankly too unbelievable.

She heard one that claimed the man Acnologia was over ten feet tall and the woman Ramona could crush thirteen mountains with a single kick.

People were terrified but she couldn't help laugh at these ridiculous claims.

However the reason she had contacted the slayers(through one of her celestial spirits)was not to confirm or deny these rumors.

The reason was simply she needed their help, you see for some time now she's been working with a group of dragons and helping them raise the children they took in.

While the dragons could provide shelter, food, attention and also teach the children Dragon Slayer magic they could not help with their education or clothes.

Which is where she came in, it first started with Igneel, the Fire Dragon King bringing in a child who couldn't have been older then a few months, maybe a year old at most.

The child had bright pink hair, dark brown eyes and the most radiant smile she had ever seen, Igneel told her the boy was named Natsu Dragneel.

And he was actually five, just having started his training, he was just so tiny.

From there four other dragons, who were friends and allies to Igneel brought in their own wards, the first was Metalicana's little brat Gajeel, the oldest at eight.

He had been with Metalicana for a little over two years and also super tiny.

Him and Natsu did not get along.

Then came in the three year olds Wendy, Sting and Ryos who had been with their dragons for less then a year.

Anna certainly had her hands full with them, especially Natsu, especially when it came to trying to teach him.

She had found a way to make learning interesting for him so he did listen but nothing was sinking in.

She was highly suspicious that the poor child was somewhat mentally handicapped but she was also determined to find a way to work around it.

Before she could though a strange wizard dressed in all black, with black hair and black eyes approached her, he called himself Zeref and that he needed her help with something.

Within a few months Anna and Zeref had completed the Eclipse Gate, Zeref only said it allowed time travel but never what he wanted it build for or why he had come up with something like this to begin with.

(anyway) With the completion of the Eclipse Gate also came more news, actual confirmed news from the Kingdom of Dragnof.

The two slayers all the rumors had revolved around lately, Acnologia and Ramona, had gone on a complete massacre and through a combination of Dragon Blood and using their Dragon Slayer magic had turned into dragons themselves.

The rumors turned more fear mongering, no more playful or ridiculously outlandish deeds, only terror.

Anna doubted it had been the slayers intention to bring fear into people but she did reconsider withdrawing her call for them.

She didn't want to put the five dragons(whom she had grown rather close to) or the children(whom she treated as her own)at risk.

But when she told Igneel of her concerns he said it would be alright, that he and the other dragons wouldn't let anyone harm her or the children.
