you had a long night at the BAU working a case with the team and finally get to go home to see Spence who you've been with for a year and two months, no one knows you two have a thing going on but you think emily is starting to suspect something.
"spence" you call out
"in the bathroom!" he hollers
"why did you leave so early" you pull him in and give him a kiss. he has to lean down because of the height difference.
"i wanted to get cleaned up. i'm taking you out tonight y/n" his smile makes you giggle
"awe spence you don't have to"
"please y/n/n. my treat. now you hurry up and take a shower so we can go"
"okay give me 5 minutes" you quickly scoot by him and turn on the shower. taking off my work clothes and hopping in
"wear something nice!" spencer shouts before exiting the bathroom
you quickly wash your hair and body and shave. just incase. you hope maybe something will but you can't be sure
"i'm gonna get the car started while you finish up" spencer yells as you hear the front door of his apartment open and close
you throw on a slim black dress with matching heels and straighten your hair. adding the little diamond necklace he bought for your one year anniversary.

setting the alarm you walk out the apartment and meet spencer right outside.
"you look stunning y/n" he kisses you softly and grabs your hand as you start to walk
"and you look as handsome as the first time i saw you"
you get to the SUV and he opens the door for you.
"thank you" you smile as you step in. patting down your dress and fastening your seat belt.
the drive over is full of laughing, flirting, spencer's occasional facts, jokes and singing.
you get to the restaurant and spencer let's you out. he's the best.
"ready?" he asks holding onto your hand
"of course" he walks you to the door and opens it for you
"you don't have to open every door spence" you giggle
"it's what i should do love" you love it when he calls you that
the waiter sits you at a booth in the corner and hands you the menu.
"may i get a glass of wine please and thank you"
"and for you sir" he asks. spencer still looking at the drinks
"um i will take a water"
you glare at him "loosen up spence. we're on a date i never see you drink."
"i know. i just don't drink a lot. did you know women are more inclined to the effects of wine than men. this is partly because they have less enzymes in the stomach lining that is needed to break down alcohol simply."
"no i didn't but now i do" you laugh and he blushes embarrassed by what he said. "it's ok spence your cute when your nerdy like that" you reassure him.
the drinks get there and you order a salad and he orders a steak.
the food arrives and you thank the waitress as she sets it down.
"do you eat anything other than salads y/n?"
"sometimes. i just like them spence"
as you both eat you discuss how emily might know what's going on between you two.
"so emily asked me about us. she saw us kiss. but she promised not to tell anyone. if garcia hears about this she's gonna start planning our wedding" you joke and he laughs but goes back to a serious face.
"it took her a while to catch on. it's been over a year and she just now saw us kiss. i think we did good at hiding it"
"your ok with me letting her know about us right. i have no one to talk about us to. i wanna be able to brag that your mine. the latest case when we had to talk to those prostitutes and they were all over you i almost lost it. emily asked me about it too"
"yes y/n. you can tell her as long as she keeps it a secret. if hotch finds out it won't be good."
you stand up and spencer locks his hand into yours as you exit the restaurant. you get to the car and in one swift movement he pins you on the car
"i've wanted to take that right little dress off you all night" he growls kissing you roughly.
