Maya looked around as she looked to where Josh was busy talking to one of his friends as she exhaled.
The conversation she heard between him and Jake kept on repeating in her head.
It was him.
He was the secret admirer but she didn't know how to react.
"What's up?" Tracy asked.
"Nothing," Maya said shaking her head as she got her Spanish book.
"Did you talk to Jake again? Since the whole conversation on Friday?" Tracy asked and Maha shook her head.
"No. I haven't. I also don't want to. It's Josh. Josh is the secret admirer and I know it for a fact," Maya said as Tracy looked at her.
"How?!"
"Overheard how he talked to Jake. He admitted that he is the..." Maya said taking out her book as a note fell out of her locker.
She exhaled as she opened it up reading it quietly.
Heard you had a terrible fight with your older twin. Don't listen to him. You are amazing and have an amajzng voice.
Maya exhaled as she closed her locker going to Josh.
"Hey, Matthews. Games over," Maya said as she gave the note back to Josh.
"What is this?" Josh asked trying to pretend like he doesn't know anything.
"If you want to put secret notes in someone's locker maybe don't talk about it in public," Maya said and Josh exhaled.
"You heard my conversation with Jake," Josh said.
"Yeah, I did," Maya said as they heard the bell and she was gone.
