Love Has No Plans

Chapter 10

             She woke up to the smell of breakfast, which was strange since no one really has time to cook a breakfast here, even stranger was it reaching the fourth floor, she opened her eyes to see a plate of pancakes and bacon "Huh?" "Morning sugar bear! Made you food, I promise it isn't poisoned" she heard Toga's high pitched voice as she sat up. "Are you even supposed to be here?" Ochako asked, rubbing her eyes to get rid of the tiredness "Eh, baking isn't a crime is it?" she smiled wide handing over the plate, "Thank you Toga, but please don't get in trouble for this okay?" she said, looking at the other who just saluted.

        Ochako took a bite of her pre cut confetti pancakes savoring the flavor "Mmmn! This is actually really good Toga!" she said looking at the other with wide eyes "Yup! I'd hope so! I've been making pancakes for the LOV for a while when Kurogiri didn't cook I did!" she said cheerfully, Ochako almost gave her a saddened look "Do you miss them?" she asked, even if it was one day, knowing she wouldn't hang out with them might be a lot for her. "Well, they were close to me sure, but I think I'm just as happy here too! I can make new friends!" she smiled, Ochako nodded, eating her bacon and pancakes, "Thank you Toga it was good!" she hopped out of bed, putting the plate on her side table, she looked at the clock, they were a few minutes early, so the faster she got dressed the faster she can get Toga to where she needed to be.

          "Okay, i'm going to get ready, but you can hang here" she said, entering her bathroom, earning a nod from the blonde. Taking her shower and brushing her teeth, she got Toga to turn away so she could put on her school uniform, checking for her bracelet and grabbing her school bag and walking out the door, Toga in tow. Trying to be quiet as she exited so she didn't alert anyone, she forgot one thing, the early riser that is Iida. "Morning Ochako-" he paused for a moment seeing Toga behind her, "She is just here because she made me breakfast! That's all!" she stood up for the other as she just waved at him from behind her. "That would explain the pans being out" he said, looking at Toga skeptically, "I have to get her back where she is supposed to be, you can come if you want to?" she asked, not really knowing if he would even want to be around Toga.

      "I don't see why not, they can deal without my morning management for a while" he replied, walking next to Ochako, seeming to keep tabs on Toga. "Alrighty then! let's go" she said, walking with Toga next to her, that didn't last to long though, as she walked around and in front of Iida to chat him up and ask him questions, walking backwards with incredible balance. "You are very tall you know, if some one was hungry enough you could feed them for quite a while, Which is good!" she smiled brightly up at him as he made a face that looked appalled "I don't know if that's a compliment or not" he whispered to ochako who shrugged "Go with it" she smiled, Iida nodded "Thank you Toga" he said in the most polite tone he could muster.

           She just laughed, "You are really funny you know that?" she said, skipping over to Ochako's side, "I-" "Just go with it" the brunette interrupted, he nodded and kept walking as Toga chatted. They finally made it through the halls, which were thankfully mostly empty, and to Recovery Girls office "You stay here and try not to get too bored" Ochako said to the other, she nodded and grabbed Ochako's hand in both of hers "Bye sugar bear! Nice meeting you bean pole!" she said, turning and waving bye as they walked, flustering the brunette. "Not to pry but, sugar bear?" he asked as they walked, making her face heat up significantly more.

         "I don't know, she just likes giving me nicknames is all" she said, sheepishly rubbing the back of her neck "Oh! Then it must be customary to her! You should give her one so she doesn't feel left out" she thought about that sentence for a moment as they made way to their classroom. The day went by slowly as they just sat in their desks and had a regular school day, well except for the constant questioning she got which she told the story multiple times a day it almost didn't seem real anymore.

        At the end she was just worn and ready to get to their dorm rooms, "You good Ochako?" Iida asked respectfully as they walked to the dorms. "Yeah just tired from explaining all day, ya know" he nodded with understanding as they walked significantly more silent without their usual third party, "Chako!~" came the yell from behind as Ochako felt a pair of arms around her neck, surprising her into using her quirk, floating the two up, she laughed as she released them. "Hey Toga, how was your day with Recovery girl?" she asked as they continued their walk, "Boring! She didn't let me do anything or talk to anyone! So they said I could go to the dorms with you!!" she exclaimed, jumping with excitement.

          "Well that's good, we can do card games in my room! I don't think the others are ready for you yet" she said, giving a small laugh as the other looked disappointed, "What so i'm embarrassing for you?" she asked with crossed arms "What that's not what I-" "I'm kidding! I know it's a lot, we can hang in your room for sure! You coming glasses?" she asked, poking his arm "Ah well, I can't today sadly but you two have fun" he said, looking at Toga cautiously as she just nodded "Then me and Ochako can play!" she smiled, moving so much you could hear the clinking of her bracelet.

          Entering the dorms no one said a word, giving Toga some skeptical looks, but she continued chatting on like nothing was going on, it didn't really bother her Ochako knew, she gave a small wave to her classmates as they headed up to her dorm room, "Okay so, what you wanna play Toga" "Hmmm" she looked at the games she had collected over years of birthdays and family nights, "This one!" she grabbed an old game that Ochako felt like she hadn't played in forever "Alright then" she said, sitting down on the floor and playing it with her for a bit, they spent quite a while until a tie had to be called due to Toga needing to go back to Recovery Girls office and Ochako needing sleep.

     "See ya later Sugar Bear!" she exclaimed, leaving the room after having helped put up the card game, Ochako wanting to escort the other to where she was supposed to be but deciding against it, knowing she would find her way. With a sigh she put up the cards and set herself up for bed, taking to her warm cocoon and falling asleep quite easily.
