Chapter 5; SHOPPING!!

Reader POV

I stood frozen, re-thinking what I had just heard. Until I realized what he said and my face exploded into a light red...very embarrasing! I was still frozen, of course!

"Um? Y/n are you ok?" Aww man now he's gonna be worried! "Y-yep! I'm fInE!" What the heck did I just say....Izuku judgingly questioned my voice but I, being the pro-acter I was, rolled with my voice breaking.

"Just practicing for...uh.... SiNgInG" I said, being totally cool about it, though Izuku had a face the looked like ' Tanjiro pitying/disgust at Zenitsu ' (If you get it high five)

I stared right back at him, and just awkwardly smiled...then I ran out the room...I'm SmUrt!

Izuku's POV

I just stared at Y/n since she was acting pretty weird...then she contorted an odd smiled, and left my room. ONFOAIWJDOAIDNN I HAVE MESSED IT UP WITH THE ONE GIRL IN MY LIFE!! I panicked for a few seconds until I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in?" I muttered under my panicking state, and in walked my mom. "What's wrong?" I gave her a worried look. "Nothing, just Y/n acting weird? I guess? What happened Izu?" She questioned. "I don't really know either" I responded, while pondering on what I said to make her act weird. I don't remember saying anything out of the blue? 'W-wow...she looks cute!' Did I say that?! I don't remember just telling her up front! What if she heard me mutter it! I could feel all the blood rushing to my head...and my soul leaving my poor body.

Time skip

"IZU!! MY BABY!!! CAN YOU HEAR ME!?" I heard someone screaming in my ear, ouch. "What happened?" I groggily sat up, weird, I'm not in my bed?

"O-omg Izu-kun you scared both of us! D-don't do that again! You can't just give Inko a heart attack like that!" Y/n was in terrified? Why? What happened? Mom?

I sat up and wanted to ask questions, but feared it'll only scare my mom. She's busy enough as she is and seeing her and y/n so worried, something bad happened. My mom left the room to go make some tea. I fell backwards into my bed and looked at the ceiling, I ignored y/n's presence, just to think about what could've happened. I zoned out for a good while thinking about probabilities.

After a good 5 to 9 minutes of pondering on my state, my mom walked in with a tray of tea and some biscuits. My mom usually never really added biscuits to tea unless she wanted to make someone feel better or special. I have fond memories of her making me, my favorite tea with the perfect biscuits, when I found out about having no quirk. It's not about that right now, but the tea was really good just like always.

I grabbed a couple of biscuits and my tea cup. I slowly sipped on it, wondering about my mom and how she's grown. Don't get me wrong, she's still just as sweet and pretty as she used to be, I just feel like she's matured. Asides from that, it was pretty awkward drinking tea in complete silence. "Do you feel alright? Does your head hurt or anything?" First one to speak was y/n, how convenient. "I feel totally fine, I just think I was in shock- are we talking about me fainting or- I'm sorry I'm still kinda lost. If we are talking about me passing out, then yeah I'm alright nothing hurts or feels wonky...?" Questionable answer but it's something ig.

"Yes Izu-kun we are talking about you passing out. Glad to know you're ok and not feeling hurt." Y/n kindly responded, though I could sense a bit of worry in her voice. "Y/n please don't be worried about me and instead let's go do something else, like shopping?" Y/n's eyes seemed to shine, what a cute thing. Guess she loves shopping. "Can we get a pika- umm wait do you guys have pikachu?" What in the s7 1986 all might special twinkle gold plaster 5th costume change second famous smile figurine-

"Do you mean chupichi? The yellow little electric type peko? We do have him, he's pretty popular being the main character peters first peko, but we have tons of all might merch! Like the limited edition-" she put a finger over my lips- "Shhh, it's ok izu we all know what you want, we all know what you worship, we all know your needs. Don't worry luv, I'll give it to you someday." She hushed me but at least she understands!

Reader POV

I silenced izu and just thought about seeing the others, forgetting my finger was on his lips. "I would love to go shopping with you! Wonder what I could buy to help me.." I thought out loud sliding my finger of his mouth. I forgot all about inko's presence but quickly remembered blushing really hard, I tried to look over without making it obvious. Like a side glance, I looked over and the poor woman had fallen asleep. I quickly got up from the side of izu's bed and tried to show izu about his mom, I could tell he was clearly dreaming about something, like all might figures. Poke poke I started poking izu to make him come back to reality.

He clearly came back but was still in a slight daze. Startled but awake from his daydream he stared at his mom. He thought about something for some time then realized his mom was asleep. "Y/n I think we should go not to wake her up, she's been really tired lately." Whispering he stood up. I slowly stood up, as to not make any noise. We both tip toed to the door and slowly opened it.

Walking out, I remembered I have no money in this world- HOW AM I GONNA BUY CLOTHES?! I slightly panicked in my mind and slowly looked at izu, he was probably humming a tune to a song he knows. I remember I'm with middle school midoriya, how is he supposed to have money?

"Izu? How are we supposed to go shopping if we have no money?" I softly question, he stopped. He processed what I just said. " WAH!?! NOW YOU ASK THIS?! I DON'T HAVE MONEY AND I FORGOT MY MOM WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE US!! what are we supposed to do?..." He slowly went into a panicking state thinking of what to do. Maybe, I should've kept that to myself... anyways I slowly also thought about ways to earn money. There was no real possibility since we were both pretty young.(izuku's age at middle school is not told but he is still in middle school at the time you came to their universe)

I sat down thinking about it and a picture of a wallet with money came into my mind. POOF The same wallet I thought about came right into my hands. How odd? It wasn't like mono's creations power, it just poofed here. Hmmm, kinda odd but I'll take it. I held on to the wallet and opened it. What- there was about 104,115 yen (about 1,000 US dollars)

I slowly looked up, surprised, and nudged izu a bit to get him out of his worries. "Izu I think I got the answer to our worries..." I spoke still slightly surprised. Izu looked at me with glossy eyes, close to tears of stress. Glanced at the 104,115 yen in my wallet and glanced at my face, slowly made a soft gasp in shock. "Let's go what are you waiting for?" I smirked and pushed the money back into the wallet.

"GOES WHOS GOING SHOPPING!!!!"
