Chapter 12:

The moment Jeno and Jaemin's talk gets deeper and deeper, Jeno realizes that he might be somehow attached to him. Jeno doesn't even know why he feels like this towards him. Jeno thought that the feeling he currently feels towards Jaemin was... admiration?

However, Jaemin fully knew that love has no boundaries and he wouldn't mind kissing Jeno since he's a good guy and good guys deserve kisses. That was until Jaemin thought that Jeno can be just a "good guy" and not THE good guy for him.

It's only been four days since the two of them met and it would be a bit odd if they kissed... or would it?

Jeno's confusion was too much anyways so Jaemin should probably... help him find out the only answer to his multiple questions.

"Hey, I don't know if you know about this but... you're actually good-looking?"
"... What?"

Jaemin asks, hiding his surprise with a frown. Jeno wasn't sure about what he's doing but it drives him crazy when he just interacts with Jaemin and Jaemin just gives him sorts of feelings that he doesn't understand. Well, he does understand those feelings... it's just that... he thought that they weren't meant for men.

They were meant for women and it's Jeno's first time to feel these feelings for a man.

Does it mean he crushes on Jaemin?

"Yeah and I would... not in a gay way of course... I would kiss you if you were a woman."

Jeno's thoughts did not come out of his mouth properly as Jaemin looked a little confused from what he stated.

"You would... what?"
"I would kiss you... I mean-"
"I don't know about you but I think that's pretty gay, Jeno..."

Jaemin says with a shrug, he is really willing to kiss Jeno but he wanted Jeno to give him permission obviously. Then, Jeno realizes in a short period of time that he does want to kiss Jaemin just so he can be sure with what he feels. Jeno doesn't know but he sure has a big crush on Jaemin.

"... What if I am 'pretty gay'?"
"Well... I think there's one way to find out."

Jaemin says, looking at Jeno in the eyes intensely. Jeno looked away from Jaemin's eyes but he did stare at his lips. Jaemin cups Jeno's face and kisses him deeply as Jeno was startled at the sudden intense action.

That was until he got completely used to it easily.

"... What do you think?"
"... You're right. I like you."

Jeno says in shock, clutching his chest from all of the surprising actions that were currently happening. Jaemin smiles as it disappears as he sees Areum, staring at them with her eyes widened. Areum couldn't believe it.

"Jeno?"
"... Mother... Mother, I can explain-"
"You don't have to explain anything... Although I don't understand why..."

Areum walks away from the dungeon in disbelief that her son liked someone who is a man he just met four days ago. As Jaemin saw Areum walking out of the dungeon, he immediately distanced himself from Jeno which made Jeno shocked. Jaemin thought that it was his fault why Jeno had a misunderstanding with his mother.

"What are you doing?"
"Distancing myself from you? I might get killed anyways-"
"Jaemin, don't say that... If I like you then I do... Only death can stop me from doing what I want but did I think of stopping on purpose? Never."

Jeno says, proving to Jaemin that it's alright. Jeno was still glad he found out what he was exactly feeling but Jaemin didn't want to break Jeno's relationship with his mother.
