Chapter 4 .Brooke's POV:
A few hours later, I heard my mom weeping louder than before. "What was in that book?" I wonder aloud. "Brooke! Come down here!" My dad calls.
I rush down the stairs to see my mom on the floor with the book in her hand.
"It's your turn." My dad says, handing me the book.
He was obviously staying strong for the rest of the family.
"Thanks." I mumble, taking the book and running into my room.
I sigh. Here lies the last piece of my sister that we have.
I slowly open to the first page.
That's the part I already read.
Then I turned the page to the first entry.
I sighed. "Here goes nothing."
This book could give me the answers.
Why did my sister die?
Who caused it?
And I hope whoever did cause it reads this and feels awful.---
Paige's Diary Entry:
Entry Number 1.
So it's Sunday. The first entry in this diary.
So let's begin with Mom and Dad.
Mom, you were always there for me. You were there when I danced at competitions, you stood up for me when Abby was awful towards me. We were so close and I love you so much. Thank you for everything.Dad, you weren't there for me as much as mom was. That's not your fault. You were always working. You're the reason why I had a roof over my head. You were always fun to joke around with and so fun to laugh with.
This is not either of your faults.
You are on my good list.
You two have a right to cry.I'm so sorry for the pain and stress I'm currently causing you.
I really hope you don't hate me for doing this to you.
I'm really sorry.
I know I'll never be abled to thank enough for what you've done.
But let me say it one last time.
Thank you.(I'm sick + i have to study so i'll post on a monday alright? bye xx)
