"Please. Marry me." I stare at him with wide eyes.
"What..JiHoo sunbae?" I say quietly and he doesn't break the gaze. I look down.
"You don't have to answer immediately. You can take as much time as you want." He says after a few seconds of silence.
I look up,
"JiHoo sunbae..are you sure about this..? I mean.. It's a really big decision.."
"Yes. I know for sure. I've known since the first time we met. You're amazing. You managed to tame, well, most of F4. You managed to steal the heart of 3 of us. Your friend took the other. You're amazing, Jan Di, I love you." He says.
I look at him and hold in the tears.
"Yes..! I'll marry you!! I love you too, so much..to be honest, you were my first crush.." I say and smile. He chuckles.
"We'll get rings. Let's go tomorrow." He says and I nod.

A few hours later, about 9:00 PM
*******

"It's getting late..we should be getting to bed around now.." JiHoo says and I nod,
"Yeah..I'm pretty tired.." I say.
We stand up and head down the hallway. I open the guest room door,
"Yah..Jan Di..were engaged now. Shouldn't we at least sleep in the same room..?" I widen my eyes and turn around to see him looking at me, with a pretty blank expression. Does he not realize how big of a deal that is..? Sleeping? In the same room? Sure, it happened once, but that was different...anything could happen..
"You don't have to, I mean-"
"No! I want to.." I say and trail off. He chuckles and opens his door.
"After you, m'lady." I laugh and walk in.
"You can shower up first. I'll wait." He says and I look at him.
"Unless...you want to shower together??" He grins like a creep and I gasp and flail my hands in a "NOONONONNONINOBOBONONO" motion. He laughs and says,
"Just kidding. You know I won't do anything you don't want me to." He says.
"I'm...gonna go shower.." I say and back out of the room into his bathroom. I look around. It's slightly different from the guest room's bathroom. It has more...stuff. It has more soap, towels, and the walls are a bit darker. I sigh. I start the shower and start undressing.

JiHoo

I sigh. I sit on the bed and hear the shower start. I close my eyes. I hope I didn't freak her out..did I move too fast? No..she seemed happy about it, right? Then, did my joke about showering together make her uncomfortable??? Oh no..she's probably scared to come back in here. After about 7 minutes of panicking the door opens and a wet-haired, pajama'd Jan Di. I look at her.
"Hi." She says and smiles. I smile back and she looks around. After a second of this I say,
"Um..I'll wash up now. You can go ahead and lay down." And I stand up.
I walk up to her, and right before I walk past her, I look at her,
"I love you." And I walk into the bathroom and lightly shut the door.

Jan Di

He walks in. I close my eyes. I feel a tight pain in my chest. I sigh and walk up to the bed. But I stop and look around a bit more. I look at pictures, the alarm clock, the design of the sheets, pretty much everything. Should I turn the light off..? No..JiHoo said its rude to do stuff in other people's rooms..but I mean, we're engaged now, right? Right? He wasn't joking...was he?? No. What am I thinking. I sigh and sit down on the bed. I run my hands along the soft blanket and close my eyes and my mind goes sort of blank.
The bathroom door opens and I hear,
"Wow...you're still up?" I look at JiHoo and laugh.
"Yes.." I say and he smiles and sits with me.
"You're not afraid of the dark, right? Should I turn off the lights?"
"Oh, sure! Go ahead." He nods and holds out a remote, pushes a button, and the lights turn off.
I stare in amazement, at the pitch blackness, then he says,
"You can make yourself comfortable..like..lay down." He sits on the bed.

About 3 minutes later
******
I sigh and shut my eyes. Just then, I feel a warmth on my hand. I open my eyes and look and see, barely, that JiHoo's hand is softly holding onto my hand. I smile and he opens his eyes and sees me. He chuckles and stares at me.
"Geum Jan Di.." He says quietly, "I love you."
I stare at him in surprise but then smile and say
"Yoon JiHoo...sunbae. I love you too."
He chuckles again and takes a hand to wipe the hair out of my face. I close my eyes until he finishes. I open my eyes back up and see that his eyes are closed and that his breathing has slowed down, to a more regular pattern. I smile at his sleeping face and hold on a bit tighter to his hand, then close my eyes and feel myself drift off.

In the morning
******
I wake up at,
"Jan Di...wake up, it's almost 10.." I open my eyes slowly and see JiHoo standing over the bed, bent over a bit with his hand on my shoulder.
"Good morning." He smiles at me. I smile back and sit up, and stretch. I stand up and look at him.
"We should should go today.." He says when we get to the living room.
"Go where?" I say and look at him.
"Get rings." He says and looks at me with his nonchalant smiling thing.
I widen my eyes.
"Really..?" I look at him and he nods,
"Well, unless you don't want to."
"Ah--Yes!! I do want to!" I say and laugh, he chuckles.
"Okay..shall we go at...11:30? 12?" He says.
"Uhh...either is fine. I should get showered and stuff..." I say and he nods,
"Okay..go ahead." He says and I leave the room.
******
Like 30 minutes later
******
I step out of the shower and quickly walk to the towel shelf and dry myself off. I sigh and look at my wet, tangled hair.
'This is gonna be a pain. Literally..' I think and grab a brush. I stare at it viciously and grip onto it, then attack my hair with it. I whimper and cringe, holding in the tears. Then,
Knock knock on the door.
"Geum Jan Di...are you okay..?" JiHoo asks.
"Ah--yes, I'm fine!" I say and continue trying to untangle my hair. I can tell he sits there a second before leaving.
I finish brushing my hair and proceed to get dressed. I walk out of the bathroom and into the living room to see JiHoo all ready.
"Don't you need to shower?" I say.
"I took a shower before I woke you up." He smiles. I nod and put my shoes on. He grabs his keys and we get to the car.

Later, at the store
******
We get out of the car and I look around. I've never been in this part of town before...
JiHoo walks up to the store like its nothing. He looks at me,
"Coming?" I quickly nod and walk to him. He smiles and opens the door and we both walk in. I look around at the store. It's very...shiny.
"Hello, can I help in any way?" A worker says and smiles. JiHoo looks at her with a 'what you scared me..don't pop up out of nowhere' type look.
She stares at him with a 'you have a beautiful face' type look..I stare at both of them,
"Um. We're just looking for rings..well let you know if we need help." JiHoo says and walks away from her. I stand for a second before following him.
After like less than a minute, the worker calls JiHoo over to her. He walks to her with a clueless look and she points at a set of rings, and makes an effort to get as close as possible to show him. She puts an arm around his shoulder and whispers something in his ear. I feel my face heat up. He looks at her with a 'wait what' look. She laughs and gets a bit closer to him. He obviously doesn't know..or does he?? I shake my head, 'no...of course not'. I sigh and look around. It's only natural someone would flirt with him. He is very handsome..I find a beautiful pair of matching rings. I pick up the case and look back and see that JiHoo is still being flirted with. I look around and see another worker. I call them over,
"Excuse me, how much are these?" He tells me,
"It's *****" (AN sorry I don't know a reasonable price for rings...just go along with it okay XD) I nod and look back at JiHoo to see him with a stressed out look on his face. He turns around and sees me staring at him. I do the 'C'mere' hand motion and he nods and says something to the worker and walks up to me. The workers expression changes as she stares at JiHoo and I. I show JiHoo the pair of rings.
"Wow, they're pretty.." He says and I nod. He stares at the rings before asking me,
"Want these??" I look at him,
"I mean-"
"Do you? Cause I think they're perfect." He says.
"Well-"
"Okay let's get them!" He smiles and says,
"We'll take these!" To the worker that was flirting with him. She sighs and takes the rings. She rings them up and tells JiHoo the price. He smiles and takes out a card and hands it to her. She swipes the card whilst staring at me with a disgusted look. I stare right back.
"Okay, thank you!" JiHoo says and takes the small bag with the rings in it with him and we walk out together. I take one last glance inside and see the worker already all over a different customer.

At the house

JiHoo's POV

We walk inside. I don't know how to put the rings on..just put em on? Exchange vows? I sigh.
"They really are beautiful." Jan Di says quietly, smiling. I smile and say,
"Yes..should we try them on?"
She looks at me, smiles, and nods.
I take the rings out of the small case and hold them carefully in my hand.
"Give me your hand..." She gently puts her hand onto mine. I slip the ring onto her finger. Perfect fit..
"So! Your turn." She says. I laugh and do the same. She takes the ring and puts it onto my finger as well. Again, perfect fit. She smiles and holds her hand to mine, examining them both. I chuckle and take her hand.
"Jan Di." I say seriously, looking into her eyes. She raises her eyes in surprise.
"Y-Yeah?"
"I love you." I say, and pull her close, and kiss her softly.
Our first kiss..well since that time in caledonia...but that was different.. I wrap my arms around her and she does the same.

Later
*******
I get a call from YiJung.
"Yah..wanna go on a double date? You and Geum Jan Di, and me and GaEul." I take a second to consider, before replying,
"Let me ask Jan Di.."
I ask jan Di and she smiles, and says she'd love to.
"Okay...let's go then." I tell YiJung.
