After I soaked him in the water I didn't expect him to come after me. I kept spraying him but he didn't seem too afraid of water. Once I realized that he wasn't stopping I dropped the hose and ran. I could hear him following me, he was getting closer.

I screeched as he grabbed me by my waist and hoisted me up in the air.

"Jaden! Grab the hose!" Josh yelled. I cried out and took off my sun hat. I put it in front of me to shield the water.

I peeked over the hat and saw Jaden standing with the hose ready.

"Wait! I won't make you work tomorrow if you don't wet me!" I said trying to persuade him to not soak me with the water.

That didn't stop him.

I screamed as the water touched my skin. I may have a bathing suit on but that didn't mean I had intentions of getting wet when I put it on.

I kicked my legs in the air to try to get Josh to let me go. I could feel the vibrations from his chest as he laughed loudly.

He finally set me down. He had the audacity to pet me like a dog afterwords. I felt like punching him in the face. My hands balled up into fist but then I realized he wasn't worth my time.

And anyway I can basically make him do whatever I want for another five days.

The rest of the guys didn't hesitate to laugh either.

Jaden took this opportunity to wave around the hose spraying everybody.

And surprise surprise Anthony was not having it. He got up from the chair and basically lept on Jaden.

Anthony snatched the hose and immediately flipped it on Jaden, who ran into the lawn trying to avoid it. Anthony was out of luck because the hose couldn't reach Jaden.

And at that very moment, the sprinklers came on. It was karma in its finest. I laughed at Jaden, who stood angrily between the four sprinklers spraying at him.

I felt a different pair of hands wrap around my waist. It was Griffin, I could tell by his biceps. He ran with me in his arms into the lawn.

The cold wet drops fell on my already soaking skin.

But it felt nice. Instead of threatening to murder him in his sleep, I laughed. Really hard.

We fell into the damp grass. I stood up and watched the guys play in the water. Almost like little children.

I laughed at Anthony whose hair was a mess, but I couldn't be talking. I'm pretty sure I look like a wet cat.

Anthony rolled his eyes. He did some sort of war cry before running towards me. I screamed as he tackled us into the ground.

My body didn't touch the ground but he slammed into it. He held me tightly as he groaned. I sat up and laughed at him. I patted his cheek and pulled his hair away from his face.

"That's what you get." I chuckled.

I gasped as he rolled over and got on top of me. He smirked as his long dripping hair touched my forehead. He ran his hand through his hair pulling it back before leaning closer to me.

"That's karma for you...huh." He whispered slowly his words dripping with a double meaning behind it. He pulled some wet hair behind my ear before pressing a light kiss on my cheek.

He didn't say anything after that. Instead, he got up and enjoyed the sprinklers.

To think that I was going easy on him before.

Never again.
