Chapter 12: We Giggle.

Now we have sixteen hours here.

Sixteen hours together.
Though it gives me relief, there is a pinch of pain too. And that's when Ethan asked me,"Wanna go out ?" I look at him. And he continues,
"Let's just freshen up our minds Mia."

I nod a no. I honestly had no strength for some new drama.

He comes and sits besides me. For a minute he says nothing. "Do you trust me?"he asked.

"Yeah, ofcourse."

"Then just let's go."he tells me and I agree

I quickly rush to my room and get ready. There was something unusual inside me. A different sort of contentment.

Ethan is already waiting at the reception when I get there looking stunning as ever wearing a button down light pink shirt and sky blue pair of jeans.

"You look pretty."he tells me.

I bite my lips to hide my smile.
"THANKS."
To my surprise he holds my hand as we head out of the hotel.

"Where would you like to go?"

I think for a while and say."A beach, I guess."

"Cool." He says and books an Uber.

We reach some beach in forty minutes."Relish Beach." That's the name Ethan mentions.

The sun is almost about to set. There is dazzling sunlight making the sand sparkle like a thousand ting jewels.

He again holds my hands and walks towards the water. My heartbeat rises. I feel so happy for some reason.
"Wanna play?" I ask him.

"Play what?"he says and giggles.

"With the water." I tell him.

Before he could say anything, I pull his hand and take him in the water. I could feel the humid dea air against my face. I don't remember the last time when I actually played with water. The last time was with Jace. So much has changed since then.

"Stop thinking about it and enjoy now." I tell myself and splash water on Ethan.
He looks at me shocked.

"You'll pay for it."he tells me and splashes water back at me. We keep doing this.

"STOP. I'm tired." I tell him. He laughs and splashes water at me for the last time.
That moment, I wanted it to stop.

"Hey look here." he says. He clicks a picture. And alot of pictures together. We laugh the entire time.

His laugh echoed in my head a couple of times. I just look at him. "What?Why are you looking at me like that?"he asked.
I don't tell him anything and start walking back. My eyes were almost wet. But I don't tell him anything. He follows me and wraps his arms around my shoulder.

We quietly sit and watch the sun as it sets. "We should leave."and gets up. I stop him and hold his hand.

"After the sun sets please." I tell him. And he sits back.
I just look at the sun when Ethan asked,"What's with you and sunsets?"

"I don't know. I always loved watching it." After a pause, I continue,"With Jace, I often went to beaches only to watch the dawn."

"Oh." He says.

We leave the beach. "Where are we going now?" I ask him.

"Back to the hotel maybe?" I nod.

But honestly, I didn't want to go back there. Because I knew Ethan would change once we get there. The same silent Ethan that he was all the time.

He looks at me and says,"After we get to the hotel, change our clothes and freshen up. Take some rest and when I call, meet me at the reception."

"Why?"
"We'll be going out for dinner."

"Okay boss." I say and giggle.

He mimics and puts his head on my shoulder.
