Being Trollhunter was in itself enough work, but now having to deal with another troll trying to kill you was pushing it. Currently, you were looking through classrooms to find a costume for the Prom King and Queen nominations. You were hesitant about the whole thing but you were doing it for your best friend. The things you do, but you know, every call needs to be answered. As you rummage through the last classroom, you peer out the window and see something outside on the field. At first you see, shadows moving then a troll-like figure under the shade of a tree. Strange. The troll seemed to be glaring up at you and then retreated away.

"Huh? What is that?" you asked yourself before sneaking off to take a closer look outside.

You're jogging out, presses closed to the wall before walking out onto the field. You faintly hear Coach Lawrence make an announcement on the loudspeaker as you make it to the middle of the field. A mound of dirt has been dug out but not much out of the ordinary. Moving on to further investigate, the ground shakes underneath you and the earth makes a loud rumbling sound. A golem has appeared out of the soil and behind you. Too stuck at the moment, you stared at the creature in awe before it struck down, aiming for you. Quickly, with hunter reflexes, you rolled out the way and hid behind a tree.

"Um, hi. I know that we just met, but what are you?" you questioned, not sure if you excepted a reply or not. A quick swing came at you and knocked you from behind the tree and back onto the open greenery.

"Okay. All right, I get it. Strong, silent type." You continued the commentary, for yourself mainly. You proceed to dodge every hit the golem aimed at you effortless, unaware of the golden eyes silently observing your every move.

Landing on your chest and out of breath, "Okay if you're gonna play dirty," You swiftly get up, "For the Glory of Merlin, Daylight is mine to command."

-

One impressive fight later, the golem was gone, along with the golden eyes. Eyes that seem to watch the whole fight, that studied you. But you can't complain much, you lived to see another day, lived to win your Prom Nomination.

Unfortunately, the honey trap eyes didn't leave your mind as deftly as they left the field that other day. They haunted you, followed and lingered in the back of your head. During class, during training and even managed to make it into your dreams...
