I sigh as I quickly shake the memories out of my head, right as I come back to reality, I see Fumikage stepping in the door of our house. "Hey babe! How was work?" The words came out of my mouth almost unconsciously, because they come out of my mouth every day he has work. "It was....tiring," He says as he plops on the couch, not bothering to shut the door. A smile graces my lips as I walk over to the door and shut it, right after walking over to the couch and sitting next to him. "Well, I'm sorry you're so tired babe," I say as he leans over to me and lays his head on my shoulder, letting out a long sigh.
"Himari is in the other room, I think she's reading a new book she found at the library." The words come out of my mouth as my gaze drifts to her bedroom door down the hall. "She really loves reading books, doesn't she?" He says to me as a smile grazes his lips. "Yes, she does." A comfortable silence comes between us as we sit together, both of our minds wondering all over the place, and Himari's bedroom door opens, and she walks out. A smile crosses my face as I hear feet pattering over to us, then the sound stops as feet stand in front of us, atop a girl, beautiful as can be. "Want to sit with us?" I ask as I stretch the arm out from the side that Fumikage isn't on. "You know what, sure!" Were the words that came out of her mouth as she sat on the couch right beside me, snuggling into me as Fumikage turns the tv on.
