It's a day before your practice game with Seijoh, and the team has been working on perfecting the blueberry-tangerine quick attack. As Kageyama puts it, Hinata is the greatest decoy, and he's been assigned as a middle blocker. You're more of an all-around player like Daichi and Tanaka, and you've been trying to support Hinata the best you can. He may let the nerves get to him, but you're there to lift Hinata up whenever he fumbles.

Ennoshita sends the ball flying over to your side of the court, and you twist your body to bump it to Kageyama. He sets it perfectly to Hinata, and the tangerine spike it straight down, eyes closed. You watch the ball forcefully hit the ground before anyone on the other side of the court can receive it. Hinata cheers, jumping up and down like a little kid. Grinning, you hang your arm around his neck and give him a noogie.

"Let's take a ten-minute water break!" Daichi announces, clapping. Sighs of relief echo through the gymnasium. You re-tie your hair into a tight ponytail and walk over to the benches. Taking a sip from your water bottle, you stretch out your legs on the floor. It's hard to keep up with the boys, but you enjoy the challenge. You hear your cellphone vibrate in your backpack, and you reach over to check who it is.
