Taylor POV
I walked back to my room after getting out the shower. I grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans and a light blue and orange Nike shirt that said 'Beast' across the front. I grabbed a pair of light blue and orange Nike's. I pulled them on then grabbed a light gray beanie. I walked out my room and downstairs. "Morning kid. Where's Mom and Dad?'' I asked when I saw Hayden alone at the table. He looked at me with tears in his eyes. "Hey what happened?" I asked running over to him. "They left us." He said crying into my arms. "T they actually left." He said and I took the paper.
'Taylor and Hayden I hope you understand why we are doing this. You probably won't but we had to go. You're father is leaving to Italy to pursue his own life and I am moving to California. We are leaving you all our money, which is a total of 3 million dollars. Taylor I know you will know what to do with this. You now are Hayden's responsible guardian. Nothing will really change but we won't be here anymore. We had to go we couldn't do this anymore. I know you don't understand this and probably never will. We have sold the house and you have 2 weeks to move to you're new apartment we got for the two of you to share. We weren't ready to be parents 19 years ago, we aren't now. We had to do this for you and us. Good-bye.'
I had tears in my eyes but didn't let them fall. "Its okay kid. No more drama over them. Its me and you." I said standing him up. "Me and you." He said and I held him close. "Do you have any thing important today at school?" I asked and he shook his head against my shoulder. "Good you're not going." I said and we walked to the couch. "Watch some TV and later well go cheak out this apartment. Deal? And we can get whatever you want for lunch." I said and he nodded. I walked upstairs and pulled out my phone.
L: Hello?
T: Hey beautiful. I'm not coming to school today. Its a long story I'll explain later. I just something happened with my parents.
L: Okay. You sound really worried and freaked out. Are you two gonna be okay?
T: I think. I'm worried for Hayden he's crying and won't stop.
L: What exactly happened?
T: They left. They literally packed up and left the state forever.
L: Holy shit- Sorry guys! I never said that!
T: You're in class. Shit I didn't think school already started.
L: It's okay. Don't worry about it.
T: Ugh. I'll call you during lunch. I'll explain everything.
L: Okay. I love you.
T: I love you too. Bye.
L: Bye.
