Lauren POV
"Laur do you have to go?" Taylor whinnied not letting me leave the bed. "Yes I have to go Tay. Please let me go." I said and she groaned. "Fine. Kiss." She said tilting her head up to kiss me. I leaned down and pressed my lips softly against hers cupping her face with my hand. "Okay go." She said buring her face into the pillow. "I'll be back at 4, okay?" I said and she nodded. "Okay." She said not moving from the bed. I walked to the bathroom to check myself one last time. I had on black slacks and a blue and white blouse on. I walked back into the room and pulled on my shoes. "Okay, I'm leaving now." I said walking back to the bed but not sitting down. "Fine." Taylor said rolling over to face me. "Have a good day." She said pulling me down and kissing my lips softly. "I love you." I said kissing her again. "I love you too." She said then I stood up. "Bye beautiful." She said cuddiling back into the blankets. "Bye." I said and walked out the room.
It was Tuesday when all the stuff with James went down and I hadn't been to work since then. It has been basically a whole week since I had been to work and I had to go. I pulled into Starbucks to grab a coffee because it was seven in the morning and I hadnt fell asleep till one last night. I drove to the small building I had been working at for the past few months. I walked in with my coffee and bag in hand. "Good morning Lauren. Is everything okay now? I understood why you needed some time off." My boss, Charles, said smiling at me. "Yeah. Everything's good now. I just have my sisters funeral in two weeks. But its in Virginia so I'll probably need a day or two off. After that I'll be back to everyday here." I said smiling at him. "Okay. Have a good day." He said walking off. I went to my office that I shared with one other person. "Hey Laur. Your back." Rachel said looking up from her desk. "Yeah. I'm back." I said sitting down putting things in place. "Um what the hell is that?" She said pointing to my left hand. I smiled and looked from the ring on my hand to her. "An engagement ring." I said and she squealed. "So who's the lucky guy?" He asked and I bite my lip. "Or girl." She said smirking. "Taylor." I said smiling. "Is this why you where gone for a week?" She said smirking. "No. This happened Monday. The day before everything happened." I said smiling at the memory of the night. "I see." She said and my phone rang from my desk. The picture of Taylor and I popping up of her tickling me one day that Hayden took. I smiled and looked to Rachel. "Shh." I said and she smiled. I put the phone on speaker and answered.
L: Yes?
T: Okay I know you're at work and I'm not supposed to call you but I have to tell you something.
L: Its fine. What is it?
T: I'm taking you on a date tonight and we have to leave right when you get home.
"Aww." Rachel said then covered her mouth quickly.
L: Where are we going?
T: Come on you know me. Its a secret.
"Aww!'' Rachel said louder.
L: You're not gonna say anything about someone in the background awing at you?
T: Nah. I know I'm an extremely amazing Fiancé so it's cool. Hi who ever you are.
L: It's Rachel.
T: Oh the one you share a office with that thinks negative about everything?
L: Yeah that's her. So am I aloud to wear makeup this time?
T: Nope. Makeups for ugly people. Sorry Rachel if you wear makeup. I'm sure you're beautiful.
L: Okay so you've flirted with my coworkers and told me where going on a date. Anything else?
T: I didn't flirt with your coworkers I simply didn't want to be rude.
L: Okay fine. I got to go.
T: Okay. Have an amazingly fabulous day. I love you.
L: I love you too.
