A tall blonde male was running inside the hospital wearing a dark blue pajama with dinosaur patterns. He didn't care if a lot of people were giving him judgemental stares. He just badly wanted to know what was going on.
A few seconds later he barged inside room 3.
His eyes scanned the room. He only saw Kageyama sitting near the hospital bed, staring blankly on the floor. Tsukishima walked closer to the hospital bed and saw her.
Peacefully lying on the bed with eyes closed.
This is only a dream,
Someone wake me up.
Tsukishima's mind went blank.
"W-what happened t-to her?" His voice cracked as he started walking slowly towards the hospital bed. Kageyama turned his attention to his former teammate.
"Her mom texted me that she couldn't go home tonight because of work. As I went inside their house it was quiet. I tried knocking on her room but she wasn't answering and it was also lock. So I broke her door and..." Kageyama stopped explaining and suddenly shifted his eyes to her.
Tsukishima was silent as hot tears were streaming down his face. He waited for Kageyama to continue.
"I found her on her bed with three bottles of pills scattered on the floor. T-the two were empty while the o-other one was half empty." Kageyama stuttered as he close his eyes, picturing the scene he saw a few minutes ago as a tear fell from his eye.
Tsukishima sat besides the hospital bed, opposite fron Kageyama as he took Yui's cold hand that was resting on her stomach, holding it tightly.
"Is her mom on her way now?" Tsukishima asked in a low voice as Kageyama hummed in response.
"Yui..." Kageyama started talking again. "This idiot was about to confess to you but Suzuki-san called you. I was the one who fetched her from your apartment." Kageyama mumbled enough for Tsukishima to hear.
"Three weeks ago she told me that she love someone..."
"And that someone is you, bastard. She loved you so much since we were in high school. She didn't tell you her feelings because she was so scared that she might be rejected by you and when we were in our second year you dated Suzuki." Kageyama mumbled as he stood up. "I'll give you an alone time with her." He then went outside.
"Yui..." He called her name out while his voice cracked.
"I'm really sorry for not hearing you out that time. I should have let you finish, I should have went to your house after leaving from the hospital, I should have messaged you or even called you...
From now on, everytime I look at the stars it will always remind me of you, how your eyes twinkled as you were stargazing while I stare at you. Your smile that melt other peoples hearts.
