I sit, perched, high in an oak tree, it's many thick branches shaking under the weight of the things Cyprus had been throwing.
"Gemeni, come back down, love." He calls up to me, his voice sweet, and playful.
"You can not make me come down, Cyprus." I tease, laughing.
My wings tuck close to my back, and I relax a little. Given mine and Cyprus' own little paradise, we enjoy each moment of being here.
My lover laughs. His laughs makes me smile.
"Come on down, dear." He chuckles.
Even though this is something the younger angels did, I loved to play around with my lover. I stood, and jumped up to a higher branch, being a tease. I am a one-hundred-and-thirty-three-year-old angel, but I still like to have fun.
"Gemeni! Cyprus!" A frantic voice calls.
That is the strangest thing. Only myself, and my love have entrance granted to this beautiful place. I stand again, and fly down to the ground, beside Cyprus.
My heart starts to beat, something that only happens when we are with our lovers, this allows us to love each other. I hear Cyprus' heart start to beat as well. And we listen.
"Cyprus, Gemeni!" The voice calls out again. Wait, I know that voice.
"Demeter?"
Demeter bursts through the trees, and into my lover, knocking the two of them to a tumbling ball of wings, skin, and clothes, on the ground.
They get up, and dust themselves off.
"What is it, Demeter?"
"I need your help. It's Levita."
"Demeter, Levita's-"
"She's not! She's not gone! I heard her! She's alive!" Demeter argues, hurt in his voice.
Cyprus looks at his brother sadly. "Alright, what do you need?"
"Do you know if anyone's ever gotten in and out of oblivion, without being banned out?" Demeter asks, hopefully.
