Things were looking up for Reece Bibby. He'd hit rock bottom and now everything's going up for him. He'd made friends, he'd talked to Blake and he'd finally managed to use his music for something other than pretty decorations in his room.
It almost seemed too good. Everything took a U-turn in Reece's life, and he was honestly sceptical because of it. He always ask himself 'When did he deserve such a good life?' Blake would constantly scold him for thinking less of himself, however old habits die hard and this thought process wasn't going to go away overnight.
While it seemed that Reece was just being paranoid in the last month at first, it turns out it was too good to be true after all...
June 17th 2019
Reece was taking his normal route to school alongside Blake, who had made it a habit to pick Reece up every morning and walk to school with him, when he realised it wasn't going to be an average day.
Reece wasn't sure whether it was the fact that everyone seemed to be looking at whatever was plastered along the wall or the fact that everyone seemed to talking about him that gave it away. But it all became clear as soon as he got a glimpse of what was all over the wall.
There it was on the wall... his hand writing scrawled across the familiar white A5 sheets... his diary.
It was Reece's worst nightmare come true. His old diary pages were the schools new wallpaper and people were reading them.
Reece stopped dead in his tracks. While Blake carried on walking unbeknown to Reece had stopped.
"I wonder what sort of campaign they've got this time. I mean everyone seems obsessed with it what do you think it is Reece?" Blake asked, however he turned around when Reece failed to answer. "Reece?"
Reece just stood there like a deer caught in headlights unable to move or say anything. This concerned Blake.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Blake cooed, reaching to place a comforting hand on his shoulder.
However before Reece could even get a word out, someone notice that Reece had arrived.
"Hey! He's over there!" Someone shouted. At this point all hell broke loose. Everyone crowded over to Reece desperate to ask him a million and one questions.
It was all too much for Reece he was getting claustrophobic and was beginning to panic. Someone had grabbed his arm and yanked him into the nearest room which happened to be a supply closet. Luckily for Reece though it was only Blake.
"Hey, hey shh" Blake cooed bringing Reece into his arms as he cried it out.
"What was all that? What did they want with you?" Blake asked.
Reece handed Blake a ripped piece of paper, one that was previously up on the wall. Blake took it out of Reece's hand and began to read it.
"My diary." Reece sobbed "My entire fucking diary with all my secret is plastered all over the god damn school!"
Blake had just finished reading the page when he said softly "Wait you like me?"
That's when Reece had realised he gave Blake the piece of paper he used to confess his crush for Blake years ago.
"Shit." Reece muttered under his breath...
I got my GCSE results today and I'm really happy with them all A*'s bar one which was an A!
Anyway what does Blake think of Reece liking him?
Also this hasn't been proof read but oh well
Until next time...
