Hey, so I saw someone added this to their reading list and felt the urge to update. So @Dawci_Cordova55 this is for you.
It's really short, but at least it's something
On with the show...
The next time Will saw Nico through the Infirmary window was during flower week
For one week in the spring, the whole camp explodes in white blossoms. It was beautiful- but torture for people with allergies. Which Will was. He got more requests for allergy medicine in that one week that the rest of the year combined. It was soooo annoying.
While leaning against the supplies cabinet, guarding it from Hermes cabin, he spotted Nico slouched against the side of the Big House. I wonder what he's up to. No one else would have been able to see him if not for Wills spying window, or as his siblings called it- window stalking. (I'M NOT STALKING ANYONE!!!)
Nico was picking the flowers off the grass hesitantly. Sort of turning them around in his hands. Then, to Wills utmost shock, The son of Hades used his long, pale fingers to weave a flower crown. It was clearly not the first time he'd done either. As Nico was almost expertly looping the blossoms together. Soon, he had a small crown.
"Analyn!" Nico shouted, loud enough for Will to hear through the glass. He didn't know Nico had any friends at camp besides Percy and Annabeth, he blew off anyone who tried. Sure enough, a little girl skipped over, one he immediately recognized as Analyn Dirkson, the seven-year-old daughter of Hebe. Her most defining feature was her stark-white hair. It was a genetic thing.
Will saw Nico place the crown on her head and she beamed, fingering it lightly. Out of nowhere, she launched herself into Nico's arms and hugged him, the son of Hades returned it. Will had never seen Nico hugged, much less hugging back. Then Analyn skipped off to show her gift to her friends.
Nico walked away, but Will could see a small smile on his mouth.
Now, whenever he saw Analyn she was always wearing a flower crown, whether real or plastic.
And Will had seen Nico smile.
