The Notes (Roman x Reader)

~Your POV~
I was walking through the halls of highschool as I kept my head down.  I was wearing an grey oversized sweater, blue jeans and black hightops.

My hair was in a messy braid and I looked in the distance to see my crush, Roman. I froze and I quickly ran the other direction before he could see me.

I've liked the captain if the football team since sophomore year and we're juniors now.

The next day at school...

I looked at the sticky note in my hand and I quickly ran to Roman's locker and slipped the sticky not inside.

~Roman's POV~
"Alright guys, let me just get my books!" I called out to my friends, Patton and Logan as I walked to my locker.

I opened my locker and a sticky note fell out as I picked it up and looked at it. 'Dear Roman, you are one of the coolest guys I know.' I smiled at the note and I shoved the note in my pocket.

I looked at the hand writing and looked around the crowded halls. "Roman! You coming?!" Patton asked me "yeah, I'm coming!" I called out and grabbed my textbooks as I ran to Patton and Logan.

The next day...

I got to my locker and I opened it and like yesterday, a sticky note was there. I grabbed it and this one made me smile even bigger.

'Dear Roman, your smile makes my day brighter." I put the note in my backpack and I decided I was gonna see who was leaving me these notes.

The next day at school...

~Your POV~
I walked to Roman's locker again and I slipped the note inside. "Hey girl!" A voice shouted to me and I looked to see Roman running towards me.

I froze as everyone in the hall was looking at us "are you the one that kept leaving me those notes?" He asked me.

I looked around and I started to get anxiety by everyone staring at us and the fact that I was gonna get rejected.

I teared up as I held onto my backpack and I ran away, leaving Roman behind.

Timeskip to after school...

I walked to my locker and opened it to see a sticky note. 'Dear (Y/N), meet me at the front of the school -Roman'

I sighed softly and I started to walk to the front of the school. I walked outside to see Roman getting a pep talk from his friend, Virgil Anderson.

"There she is" "what's he gonna do?" "They would be such a cute couple!" I heard from a bunch of people that were watching.

I walked to Roman as I shoved my hands into my pockets. "You wanted to talk?" I asked him and he quickly turned to me.

"Hey, hey, yeah, I did" Roman stuttered as I nodded in understanding. "Why did you start giving me those notes?" He asked me.

"Because I like you" I admitted and Roman hugged me "I like you too" he spoke and kissed my head, causing me to tear up and kiss him on the lips.

Everyone cheered as Roman kissed me back and lifted me off the ground.

Who knew the shy and quiet girl would end up with the confident team captain of the football team?
