Albus and Scorp meet on train and become friends instantly. Scorpius is an adorably nerdy guy and Albus is a sarcastic loner but somehow they fit perfectly together.
They spend the train ride eating snacks from the trolley and just getting to know each other. It's obvious to them both that they've made a friend for life.
Then to the surprise of everyone at Hogwarts Albus gets sorted into Slytherin. But Albus isn't surprised. He knew the hat would want to put him there, and he had planned to argue. But when his friend ended up in Slytherin, he lost his reason to fight. In fact, he was happy he got put in Slytherin. He needed to see more of Scorpius.
