"that store has the games?" she asked me. i nodded and pointed at the store. okay, i got this. just stay close to her and protect her.

the chance of her liking me isn't zero, right?

"kenma?" i looked at her and hummed. she hugged me for a second and continued walking.

"what was that for?" i asked her, she chuckled and looked at me. hugging me again

i don't know why she's doing this but i'm not complaining.

"i wanted to hug you, is that okay?" she said in her soft, gentle voice. oh god how much i would do to hear her voice-

what was i going to say lol, puberty stop my sins.

i shouldn't think about that, no.

but her voice is so , sweet.

i walked up to her and hugged her again, taking her small body into my arms and patting her head, she wanted hugs, right?

"i really like your voice, y/n." i said softly. she hugged me tight and mumbled a thanks. i could see her cheeks flush. i did that to her...?

"i like hugging you, y/n." i said as she hid her face from me a little. she got shy? because of me?

"i feel like lev is mad at me." she said softly, before smiling at me. i love her smile, even this slightly sad one. lev made her sad...

"is there a reason for him to be?" i said as i took a strand of her hair in my hand.

"i mean, i kinda left him there to go shopping with you..." she said softly. looking into my eyes with her glossy cat ones.

"why did you come with me?"

"it was your idea to go... to buy me some games, right? i really wanted to do that, with you." she said shyly.

she's getting shy about admitting the fact that she wanted to do something with me and nobody else.

i'm... happy. that makes me happy.

"right." we smiled at eachother.

kuroo pov

we walked past the game store kenma wanted to take y/n to and saw them being very close with each other. so he's starting to make some moves, huh? finally damn.

i was almost getting scared lev was going to take y/n away.

i hope she sees him as a friend. i thought i'd find this okay. she's been my friend for the longest of us three. i accepted the fact that kenma will get to be with her. not lev. please not lev.

it's just, our trio wont be complete anymore. we're best friends and i want it to stay like this, if kenma and y/n start dating nobody is going to feel excluded. it's not like they'd hide things from me or anything.

if kenma and y/n date i'd be the one both of them would go to for advice. thinking about that makes me smile, that's how i want it to be.

but i can't really control anything.

"are they... dating?" lev asked me softly.

"no." i said. but i winked at him, not sure how he's gonna take it.

we got some food for all of us and lev went to pick the two up as i got a table. when they were walking towards us, kenma walked in front but kind of next to y/n. lev held her arm and she just looked at me with a small smile when they sat down.

"did you guys get everything?" i asked the shorter duo as they nodded

" why do you want so many games all at once, y/n? i thought you liked to watch people play, not play yourself." lev said.

"yeah but i wanted to play with kenma." she said softly. very softly, almost whispering. kenma blushed to a medium shade of pink and looked at me.

i gave him a smirk and i could see that he wanted to smile. but then,,

"i'll play too!" lev said. y/n just chuckled as kenma rolled his eyes.

"sure! we'll all play together, but i'll play with kenma on the side, too. i want him to teach me how to play.." she said the last part pretty softly.

we all chuckled as kenma went to sit a bit closer to y/n. obviously feeling a bit more comfortable. lev just stood up.

"oh, i'm going home. it's starting to get dark." lev said. y/n looked outside and wanted to go to, since that's the time her mom always tells her to get home. but i held her wrist, shocking both kenma and i, but also y/n.

"he finally left." kenma said as he took a sip out of his drink. y/n looked at him with a frown before turning to me.

"what?" she asked me softly. right, y/n doesn't know anything about kenma and lev's 'friendship'.

"we'll walk you home." kenma said with a gentle smile.

"no, actually. i need to get something for my mom. you guys go without me." i said as i smiled at kenma.

"let's go, then." she said.
