it was 3:30 right after school and i started to do my homework and just chill until about 5. i started to get ready for the date with isaak. i was super excited cuz i had never been on a date before and the thought of someone wanting to go out with me just made me happy. i changed and did my hair and light makeup. it was 5:50 now so i went out on my porch to wait for isaak to come pick me up. i was just scrolling through my phone 

third person pov

johnny and jayden were up by johnny's window where they could see kenzie waiting happily. it was now 6:10. 

johnny- that douchebag is late *muttering* 

jayden- do you think he's going to come? 

johnny- no

jayden- well that's that then 

johnny- earlier before kenzie got asked out i hear isaak and his friends talking

jayden- about what?

johnny- isaak said something about how he thought she was hot and he just wanted to ask her out so he could stand her up...

jayden- that son of a bitch is gonna get it tomorrow 

johnny- yeah for sure, let me help

jayden- of course bro

johnny- he uh also said something about if everything goes well he wan't to get in her pants 

jayden- WHAT?!?!?!

johnny- yep i know right 

jayden- john it's already 6:45

johnny- holy shit seriously??

jayden- yeah

johnny- should someone go out there and like talk to her or something 

third person pov

asher- hey carson?

carson- yeah bro

asher- kenzie's been outside for like half an hour just waiting 

carson- seriously? she hasn't left yet???

asher- yeah bro she's still out there 

carson- isaak's gonna get his ass beat tomorrow *muttering* 

asher- hell yeah he sure is 

third person pov

jayden- johnny you should go out there and talk to her 

johnny- me?!?!? why?!?!?

jayden- because it's obvious you care about her

johnny- yeah i care about her cuz she's my friend 

jayden- john we're not twins for nothing. i can see that you like her. maybe you can't see it now, but you'll soon see that you really do like her 

johnny- whatever you say jayden 

jayden- john do you remember, before mom died, what she told you?

johnny- when you find the one you want

jayden- go for her 

johnny- because once she's not available

jayden- you're gonna wish you did

johnny- i miss her

jayden- *hugs johnny* i know, i miss her too 

johnny- *hugs back* i'm going to go talk to kenzie 

jayden- *smiles at him* 

third person pov

carson- ash, it's already 7:10. she's been out there for over an hour 

asher- wait is that johnny? 

carson- what? where? 

asher- right there. look he's coming up to her 

johnny pov

following jayden and my mothers advice, i walked over to the zieglers house and went to the porch where kenzie was sitting still sadly looking at her phone 

third person pov

johnny- hey kenzie...

kenz- *looks up* oh, hey johnny

johnny- whatcha doing outside right now?

kenz- isaak was supposed to pick me up at 6...

johnny- 6?!? it's already 7:20!!

kenz- *sniffeling* how could i be so stupid that i thought he really wanted to go out with me?

johnny- shhhh kenzie you're not stupid, he's stupid for what he missed out on 

kenz- i hadn't even been at our school for 10 minutes and he asked me out. of course he didn't want to go out with me 

johnny stands up 

kenz- what are you doing 

johnny- c'mon im going to take you out on a real first date 

kenz- *smiles slightly*

johnny- it's friday night, im sure your brothers don't want you moping around the rest of the night 

kenz- okay...fine let me go change first 

she went to go change into a t-shirt and some jeans 

kenz- okay i'm ready 

johnny- okay let's go
