Ch. 1- Yuri's backstory

(Yuri's POV) 3 months before college

I got home later than expected I was supposed to be home 2 hours ago but work ran late.
Right know it is around midnight I was supposed to be back at 10 but had to take over another shift.
I hope my siblings remembered to eat dinner.I have 3 siblings Jax,Luke,and Lexi.
Jax is 15,Luke is 13,and Lexi is 10.I worry about them so much but I can't help it I leave for college in 3 months.
I don't know when I will see them again it worries me more than the factor that I won't be able to help them with homework.
Jax's quirck is levitation he can levitate small objects. Luke's quirck is reversal he can revert things back to the natural form. Lexi's quirck is barrier she can create a barrier to protect herself from harm.
My quirck is chains i can use the iron in my blood to create chains and manipulate them to do whatever I want. Sense my dads quirck is a fire quirck they are resistant to fire. But since they use the iron in my body I have iron deficiency.  I take pills to help with it but if I use the chains to much I pass out.
I can use my chains for about 3 hours before I pass out but it still takes a toll.If someone trys to melt them I last about 1 hour and half so I told my parents. 
I wasn't going to become a hero cuz what if I accidentally pass out during a really important battle i would be useless.
So I decided that I was going to become a detective so I can still help and won't accidentally hurt people because of my quirck.
                (15 minutes later)
I walked through the front door to see my father up he said "hey yuri why weren't you home yet" I responded with "sorry had to take an extra shift" he said "its okay just remember to call I'm gonna go to bed. Don't forget to eat" I said "night dad and I won't" I walked to the fridge to find some food I garbed some leftover pizza and a plate and put it in the microwave. Then I saw Jax still up working on homework at the table. I walked over to him and said "need some help" he said "please I don't understand please help me" I said "I will always help you" he said "thanks yuri" I said "your welcome" I ate my pizza and helped him for about an hour. He eventually said "I get it you can got to bed now" I said "okay but don't stay up to late" he said "I won't promise" I said "good night love you jax" he said "night love you to"

I went upstairs and went peaceful asleep for 2 hours the next thing I know I hear a scream.
