Dylan went to the house. He was feeling like a monster after hurting Dolly's feelings. He knew that he broke Dolly's heart in very painful way.

Dylan walked into kitchen, he was alone, everyone were sleeping. He said quietly to himself, wanting to cry.

Dylan: I'm sorry Dolly, I'm sorry that I'm only stupid coward that is too afraid to love you. To love you like you deserve.

Dylan went to sleep after that, he wanted to fell asleep and never get up. He was feeling guilty for Dolly's suffering.

While Dylan felt asleep, Dolly was still crying in treehouse. In the same time Doug came back from work. He wanted to go to sleep like his kids but he saw a light in treehouse.

Doug came there, before entering he heard loud cry. He realized that his oldest daughter was crying. Doug came in to see Dolly, she was curled up on a pillow in the corner.

Doug immediately felt bad for Dolly's sadness. As a father he wanted to proteck Dolly, he wanted to comfort her.

Doug: Sweetie?

Dolly looked at her dad, but she just stayed in her position. Doug came to her and hugged her.

Doug: What is going on sweetheart?

Dolly tried to calm down and hold her tears.

Dolly: Dad, my love pushed me away.

Doug knew how painful was broken heart, especially in young age.

Doug: I know that it's hard, but please stop crying. I really hate to see you cry.

Dolly: I know but it hurts so much.

Doug: I know but I'm with you. Who did it to you?

Dolly was thinking for a while about telling the truth or not. She decided to just be honest with her dad.

Dolly: Dylan.

Doug was surprised, for the first second he was thinking that he heard something wrong.

Doug: Our Dylan?

Dolly: Yes. Please don't judge me now. I just love him but he hates me.

Doug wasn't happy about Dolly's love but at that moment he just wanted to help her.

Doug: He hates you? I don't think he does. I was always thinking that he loves you from all his heart.

Dolly: He hates me as sister, not saying about girlfriend.

Doug: I don't think so, but I think that he knows that you can't be together.

Dolly put her head on her dad shoulder.

Doug: We are family and it isn't normal that siblings are felling in love to themselfes. It won't couse anything good sweetheart.

Doug was trying to convince his daughter in a gentle way.

Dolly: I didn't choose in who I will fell in love. I can't just change my feelings, nothing can change them. I love Dylan and I will do anything to be with him. No matter how hard it will be, I will try to change his opinion of me and you won't stop me dad.

Doug: Dolly I....

Dolly: Please! I don't want to be against everyone again. Please understand me and help me.

Doug didn't know what to do. All situation was hard, he needed help too.

Doug: I will talk with your mother about that- he said and left the hug. Doug decided to ask Delilah what is she thinking about that.

Dolly was calmer than before, she finally stopped crying, but she was still in big despair after hearing what Dylan is thinking about her.

Dolly couldn't go to house, she didn't want to meet Dylan so she stayed in treehouse. She laid on a big cuschion and felt asleep.

Doug went to his room to wait for Delilah. His wife came back from work after few minutes. She was tired after work but Doug didn't want to wait with their conversation.

Delilah: Do we really have to talk now?

Doug: Yes honey.

Delilah: Ok so what's wrong?

Doug: When I came back home two hours before, I saw that Dolly was in bad state.

Delilah felt a little afraid after that. She didn't want her daughter to fell bad.

Delilah: Bad state?

Doug: She was crying alone in treehouse. I asked what's going on and she answered. She said that she loves Dylan but he doesn't love her.

Delilah: Oh.

Doug: She said that she will try to make Dylan love her and she asked if we can help her.

Delilah: I don't know if it's good idea. They are siblings and I don't know if it would be good for them.

Doug: I'm afraid too, but shecwas right.

Delilah: About?

Doug: About that she didn't choose who she love. She loves Dylan and she can't forget about it.

Delilah: Yes but....

Doug: I made a promise to myself that I will do everything in my life to keep my kids happy. I will follow this promise. Dolly won't be happy without Dylan. I know that I can't force Dylan to love her, but I just won't stop Dolly trying to be with him.

Delilah: Honey I.... I think you are right. Who are we to stop her from fighting for love.

Doug hugged his wife.

Doug: Thank you for understanding. We should just let Dolly do what she need. If she would really make Dylan love her, we will accept that.

Delilah: Yes honey. Let's let them just handle it by themselfes.

Delilah yawned and left the hug.

Delilah: But now let's go to sleep.

Doug felt better after that conversation. He knew that he had support in Delilah. In fact he felt tired too.

Doug: Yes.

They laid in their beds.

Delilah: But what if Dylan won't want to be with Dolly?

Doug: It wiould be hard for her but she will need to accept that. If it would happen, we will be by her side to to help her fight with sadness.

Delilah: Yeah, we will have to help our little sweetheart.

They both knew that Dolly probably won't gain Dylan's love. They were ready to cheer her up, no matter how it would ends.
