*Eddie and Richie talking nonsense*
"They never stop talking do they?" You say to Stan as they ramble on.
"Not unless you put an asthma pump in his mouth." He says, looking at Eddie, "and a burger in his." He continues, now pointing at a Rich.
As you walk into Bens room you immediately laugh at the unnatural pose Ben is pulling, who clearly rushed into his room to clear something away. You speed up to walk next to where Bill is, and brush your hand against his, linking pinkies, you feel his face go hot.
"Wow," Richie says, finally shutting up to Eddie.
"Cool huh?" Ben says, clearly proud of his newspaper detective wall.
"No, no, nothing cool." Richie says trying to seem unimpressed, but you all know Richie well enough to know he secretly finds it cool.
As Bill puts a film up the light, you lay your head on his shoulder, he looks down at you, surprised, and he continues to look back at the film and smile to himself shyly.
"This is cool! Oh wait, no, no it's not." Rich says, trying to keep his cool act stable.
"What's that?" Stan says, which makes you smile, you love seeing him involved.
"Oh that? That's the chart for Derry township."
"Nerd alert." Richie scoffs, adjusting his glasses.
"No actually, actually it's really interesting."  You see Bev blushing and smiling from the corner of your eye, she loves it when Ben stands up for himself.
"Derry started as a beaver trapping camp,"
"Still is, am I right, boys!" Richie says, awaiting a high five, of which no one rewards him with.
"Ninety-one people signed the charter that made Derry. But then, later that winter, they all disappeared without a trace."
"The entire camp?" Eddie said with one of his adorable confused and worried faces on. Richie found it cute too you found out, but the way he blushed he found it more adorable than you did.
"there were rumours of Indians but no sign of an attack. Some thought it was a plague or something. It was like everyone just woke up one day and left. The only clue was a trail of bloody clothes leading to the well house."
"Jesus we could get Derry on unsolved mysteries." Richie says as a door creaks.
You look back to see who left, but it was only Beverly closing the door and seeing a "new kid on the block" poster. You can't help resist a snort. Beverly quickly opens the door before all the other boy's can see.
"I don't know, maybe he's trying to make some friends Stanley." Was the first thing you heard when you snapped back into reality.
"W-w-w-wheres the well house?" You found Bill's stutter so attractive, it suited his soft voice so well. I don't know, somewhere in town I guess... why?"
"Nothing.." Bill says as he stares off into thought.. you knew he was thinking something, and you also knew you would get it out of him on your way back home with him.
*eddies fear scene*
*beverly fear scene*
*added scene: biking home with bill*
"Bill, can I ask you two things?"
"Y-y-y-yeah"
"What were you thinking about earlier? In Ben's room?"
*Bill's pov*
"Kissing you" he thought to himself. No you can't say that, look at the way she looks at Stan for Christ's sake! No one likes a stutter Bill.
*back to y/n*
He's been quiet since for quite some time now. God how you could be so stupid to think he's gonna trust you! The only person he would tell is Bev. Have you even been looking at the way he looks at her?
"I was going to see if g-g-g-georgie was there." He whispered, as though in fear someone would hear.
"Oh Bill, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have said anything."
"It's okay, I'm glad I have someone to actually t-t-t-talk too about it, all the l-l-losers don't ever want to talk about it.. They always find the topic u-u-u..." he struggles. You wait, knowing that's the right thing to do with someone with a stutter, wait for them to get their words out, it's embarrassing for them if you have to say it for them.
"Uncomfortable." He finally gets out. You smile at him, he smiles back.
"Do you want to come over? Like stay over." He blurts out, pulling an embarrassed face of regret immediately after.
*bills pov*
Wow Bill good going. No she's not gonna want to stay over dumbass she probably has plans with Stan.
*back to y/n*
"I-i-i"
"You're turning into me." Bill giggles.
"I would love to Billy."
He blushes.
"I don't have any spare clothes with me." You say to the boy, hoping he gives you some of his clothes.
"You can borrow m-m-mine!" He says he says excitedly.
"You know.. This is my first sleepover in Derry... you better make it a good one Denbrough?"
"We've got popcorn!" He says dropping his bike on his front garden, grabbing your hand and rushing you up to the front porch.
You blush at the effort he's putting, just for you.
*time skip to later that night and into Bill's pov*
"She's pretty when she's sleeping" you think to yourself, smirking at the angel lying on the couch beside you. You see Georgie's figure run past the kitchen.
"G-g-g-georgie?" You say, as y/n shuffles on the couch, cold, you wrap a blanket around her. Georgie's shadow speeds past you again, this time heading into the basement. You slowly make your way down the stairs, taking slow steps, so the stairs don't creek and wake up y/n or parents up, although your parents don't notice anything anymore. As you come to the basement floor, you see it's flooded, Georgie's giggling and splashing water made you swiftly focus to where the noises were coming from, and there georgie was, standing in the corner of the basement in that yellow raincoat, the same one he wore the day he went missing.
"I lost it Billy." The voice sounded familiar, yet so unrecognisable.
"Don't be mad," he continued.
"I'm-I'm-I'm not mad at you" Bill whispered, his disbelief clear in his voice.
"It just floated off..."
Bill was breathing heavy now,
"God I could really do with Eddies inhaler right about now." He muttered.
"But bill, if you come with me... you'll float too."
Bill stares, puzzled. Breathing even heavier now.
"You'll float too, you'll float too.." he repeats, over and over, getting more sinister each time he says it.
"You'll float too." His voice creepily deeper now as his skin becomes scales like a snake, a clown, with ginger hair and all white skin, yellow eyes and yellow sharp teeth arises from the flooded water next to Georgie. Bill backs up by the sight, frightened out of his skin, he runs up the basement stairs as the clown comes racing towards him, slamming the basement door shut behind him. He had trouble falling asleep for the rest of that night.
