"Come on! Don't be such a pussy." I tugged at my current 'boyfriend', Joseph. He resisted and looked at me, his brow furrowed with anxiety.
"But, babe, this is so illegal." He flinched and glanced around nervously as a siren blared in the distance. I didn't understand what he was so nervous about. I took every precaution before ever pulling a heist. That's how I have never been caught. I wasn't an idiot, I was a criminal
"Of course it is. That's why it's so much fun!"
"But-"
"Just stick with me," I scooted a little closer to my plaything. "I'll keep you safe." Yeah, that was a complete lie. I planned to pin this robbery on him tonight. I had pulled a couple of heists in this town already.
"No leads yet..." the police claimed. Well, I'd give them their lead. A completely wrong lead, but it would cause enough confusion for me to skip town and settle in the next one.
"Alright." He took a shaky breath and pulled a ski mask on. I rolled my eyes. He had insisted we wear them, so I complied to keep him from chickening out. He got out of the car and came over to open my door. I smirked, thankful for the mask at that moment. I had him wrapped around my finger.
