Why don't you walk away?

—————————————

"Seizure has been induced, Doctor."

God it hurts so much when my body violently shakes like this. The electric shocks hurt as well.

I would have endure this, according to Chun Hei, every 2 weeks.
Hard to believe it's already been 2 weeks since I last had this procedure done.

"How exactly does this 'electrical therapy' work?"
"It targets certain parts of the brain to forget memories, to which those memories could be the cause of your depression and OCD."

I stared at my reflection in the semi-clear herbal tea, she had previously made. She was good at making tea, I'll give her that.
I swallowed.
"Why do you leave when it happens?"
I don't wanna sound needy.

"Mr. Levi, I'm only a mere therapist, there is no need for me to be in the room when trained professionals are doing their job."
Currently, she was sorting my medication in containers for the week, her hands covered in white clothed gloves.

"But, it scares me when you leave."
"It does? My bad, I didn't realize this."

"I want you by my side when it happens."
By then, she had stopped sorting pills, pursing her lips and tilted her head, deep in thought.
"Alright... I'll talk to Doctor Charpentier."

I took a sip of tea, watching her as she went back to her daily notes and then back to her pill sorting for me.
I felt the warm liquid soothe my throat from the cuts on the roof of my mouth and the back of my throat from screaming early.

"I only got to ask one question yesterday, before our session ended. I think I was pretty vulnerable to you, so in return do I get to ask another question?"
My eyes didn't leave her, she was always so caught up in her own little world, ignoring me a lot of the time.

"Fine, but only one question."
Oh Baby, I only need one.

"Who kill your mother?"
And just like that, I snapped her out of her own world. She looked petrified every time her mother is brought up.

Others may have gotten the hint by now that it was a sore subject, but not me. For some odd reason, I'm determined to get to the bottom of this.

"I can not and will not answer this."
She loudly clicked her tongue, throwing her pen against the table in frustration, shooting me a death glare. Uh oh, I pushed a button. That's cute.

"Alright.. then why did you ask your father to kill you that day."
"How do you even know that's what I said?"

"Mr. Oh knew abeoji meant father in korean, then he figured the rest."
"That damn bastard"
Chun Hei angrily muttered in under her breath, before she gasped, and covered her mouth with both hands dramatically.

"I-I won't tell you that, either!"
She stuttered, her face clearly flushed even with her hand covering her face.
"Why?"

"I-it was only twice.. h-he d-didn't mean anything b-by I-it."
"What? Whose he?"
"R-really, h-he's a g-g-good f-f-father!"
I sat there, confused, watching Chun Hei completely freak out on the other end of the table, her eyes forming little beads of tears.

Then it hit me.
Angrily, I slammed my hands down on the table, instantly she jolted in shock, staring up at me with bloodshot eyes. Some stationary items fell from her bag.

I'll... I'll kill that bastard!

"Your father tried to kill you!?"

I don't know how, I don't know when...

"TWICE!?"

I'll escape this place, and kill her father.

She stared at me for the longest time, not making a movement other than her shaking hand and quivering lip.
Rage had filled me, I even felt my body violently shake, as ways to choke that bastard came to mind. I gritted my teeth together with immerse pressure to try and stop from screaming like a manic.
I didn't even notice, I knocked down the hot tea, that now stained my white bottoms in my area. Chun Hei did though.

"M-Mr. L-Levi... sir, y-your pants."
"How old were you and how!?"
"Le-Levi, your pants..."
"How! Old were you, and how?"

She was terrified of me, I knew that much. Her expressions were always so readable. She hung her head in shame, she hid her hands in between her thighs, squeezing them tightly.
"When I was 4, and 13..."

"And how?"
"C-choking me w-with his hands."

I'll strangle that bastard so hard, he'll never see the light of day again!

And quickly, again it hit me, though this time even I had a noticeable facial expression as I widen my eyes.
"He killed your mom, didn't he?"
"N-N—"
"God damnit! Don't lie to me, Chun Hei!! He killed your mom! You were 4 when she died and you were 4 when he first tried to kill you, because you watched as he fucking killed your mom!"

".....yes"
She managed to pip-squeak out, a hiccup ending her sentence, her tears falling, clearly, into her lap.
"Though, he tried t-to k-kill me because I looked like her... not because I-I s-seen it happen."

As she talked, I had grabbed her by the waist, my other hand held her cheek, firmly, trying to give her affirmation.
"Do you treat other patients like this?"

As usual, she looked up at me with the innocence, the sparkle in her eyes had told me she had came to her own realization. She blushed heavily, turning her eyesight away from my view.
"N-no..."

"Good."
I pressed my lips against hers in an attempt to kiss her. The feeling of her skin, gave me another sense of electricity, one I craved, unlike my treatment she diagnosed me.
She didn't kiss me back, so I pulled away, observing the stun look on her face.

"First kiss and nervous?"
I asked chuckling just slightly.
"That's alright, you'll kiss me back someday."
I pulled away from her giving a her a stern look, furrowing my thin brows.

"You're mine now... and don't ever fucking forget that."
Quickly she nodded like the obedient dog she was.
"And if any bastard in this hospital causes you any disruptions... tell me."

She left quickly after that, but somehow I seen a pencil on the floor that fell out of her pencil case.
Oh. Oh, this might have work.
